It did take about 30 minutes to get our completed order and in that time, we got to know one of the owners who was actually a former resident of highland park, the neighborhood adjacent to our childhood home. This is the biggest burger I ate in 2023 and it might be one of the biggest burgers I have ever attempted to eat. Fresh, hand made patties, about the size of small wagon wheels with the standard lettuce, tomato and onion on a very basic but fresh bun. I only made it through half of it before I hit a wall. Overall, I would rate the burger a 7 out of 10, not the best I have ever had but for what I paid vs what I got, it definitely was the best value especially if you are hungry. They also had wings and fish on the menu but that was about it.
