Misrepresenting repairs does not earn trust! Definitely make sure you are watching repairs being…read moredone to ensure repairs are not misrepresented! Josh originally diagnosed my radiator having a hole, and that my oil pressure switch needed replaced, and power steering fluid out. I immediately purchased the radiator, dealer said he'd get the oil switch. Later when dealer sent Josh to my residence to get my vehicle up and running, Josh verified my battery needed replaced. Came back the next day and replaced the battery and oil switch. Showed me a valve cover gasket and said he'd be coming the next day to install it. He never showed back up the next day. no communication what so ever. I reached back out 4-5 days later asking if he was still planning to come back. He asked if my vehicle was still leaking fluids. I told him I have not driven the vehicle until I know it's safe to drive. The dealer stated he gave Josh $400 to get my vehicle up and running, checked with Josh to see what was done, got back to me and said that the valve cover gasket had been replaced. I still had issues of a bad radiator and losing my power steering fluid. I asked Josh if I could arrange for these to be taken care of. He wanted me to pay for a third diagnosis, which I agreed but first wanted to confirm this said repair of the valve cover gasket install was completed as stated, his reply "we will no longer be coming to work on your vehicle". $400 Josh got to only replace a $100 battery and a ~$15 oil pressure sensor. A radiator and power steering issues would be more important than a valve cover gasket if priority was getting the vehicle operable. So I got another inspection, the valve cover gasket was not replaced, the radiator definitely needed replaced, and the power steering leak that Josh said was just the reservoir tank was actually a cracked rack and pinion. They later doubled back and said that the valve cover was actually only re torqued, but inspection showed that the valve cover was not touched at all. This was very unprofessional and left me and my baby and daughters without transportation, and cost him and his associated dealership future money from me. Beware!

Josh from Hack It Mobile Maintenance came to my house recently to replace my brakes and rotors, and…read moreI'm really glad I found him! I'd never used a mobile mechanic before, but a friend recommended him, and the idea of not having to sit in a shop waiting room sounded pretty great. Josh showed up on time, was super easy to talk to, and explained everything he was doing in a way that made sense (I'm definitely not a car person). He had all the tools with him and got the job done faster than I expected -- and for a really reasonable price. No weird extra fees or pushy sales stuff either, which I really appreciated. Overall, the whole experience was easy, stress-free, and way more convenient than going to a shop. I'll absolutely be calling him again next time I need work done.

When I found out they also did repairs, he said they'd be able to get me in and get the diagnostic done on the day, which the dealer couldn't even touch it 'til Monday. So, I went with Jody's. They came and picked it up at my house, with a flatbed, within an hour, got it down there, did the diagnostic, did the fix, and were able to get the keys back in my hands by 4 p.m. The mouse-chewed wires unfortunately weren't covered under my platinum warranty, but they wouldn't have been covered at the dealers, either! I know I got my car back faster, and that the price was probably even a little lower, and I honestly couldn't be more pleased. Hopefully no more un-warrantied issues with my Nissan Kicks, but if I do, I'll have Jody's deal with them. Time to go get some mouse and rat repellent!

Short story- Lost…read morethe pulley for the alternator belt. Rolled into Jody's at 8 AM. The car was fixed by 9 AM. Great prompt service. Long story- Against my better judgement, I agreed to drive my 86-year-old mother from Tucson to Tennessee in her 2003 Buick Lesabre. The first 1000 miles were thankfully uneventful. But, after leaving Henryetta, Okla. at 6 AM, we had just past Ft. Smith, Ark. when the engine service light appeared, then minutes later a bright red voltage light glared- all with a very emotional Mom in my ear. It was a catastrophic failure. The temp. was maxed out and this is when I threw on the hazards and lowered the speed to 50 mph. The temp. lowered a bit, and I saw that an exit was a mile ahead. Made it to the off ramp at 7:45 AM and started researching service garages. Jody's was right at the exit across the street from a Waffle House. We pulled into the lot which was empty. We thought they were closed. The sign directed me around the corner where I found a gentleman at a computer ready to check me in. We speculated that it was an alternator problem. As I returned to the car I was immediately met by a mechanic, and he drove the car to the garage. The rep. and I discussed whether the high temp. may have damaged the water pump or some seals/gaskets. The rep. returned in a timely manner and informed us it was a pulley failure for the alternator belt. $300. He said it would probably be done before noon. My Mom and I ate breakfast while waiting across the street at Braum's. Not bad and affordable. My phone beeped at 9 AM. The car was done. Incredible- thinking we were out in the middle of nowhere (we thought) and they would have a part locally for a 2003 Buick Lesabre. Never has anyone been so happy to pay a $300 bill. The car made it to the Tennessee destination without incident. Thanks to Jody's!!
