I had just moved back to town & made the mistake of going to "Smoke Shop" (Clinton Keith & the 15 near Albertsons - don't go there. Language barrier & the Indian "mom" is rude). They're awful. So one day I randomly walked in to Maverick & never looked back. Tall blond "kid" has helped me each time I've been in & has answered all my questions. For instance, I constantly forget what kind of pods my vape takes but he'll glance at it for .5 seconds & knows which ones I need immediately. Zero complaints & I'll continue shopping there. read more

This is how you kill a business from the inside out. I walked into this smoke shop on a Saturday morning at 10:50 a.m. The place was empty--not "quiet," not "between customers," just empty. No one at the counter. No one restocking. No one even pretending to care that a paying customer had just stepped through the door. Eventually a kid drifts out from somewhere in the back like he'd been interrupted from something far more important than, you know, running a retail store. I asked for a specific product. His response? "I have no clue what you're talking about." Not "Let me check," not "What brand or style are you looking for?", not even a basic attempt to clarify. Just pure, unhelpful indifference. Here's free advice for whoever is actually supposed to be managing this place: when a customer asks for something you don't immediately recognize, you don't shut the conversation down. You dig. You ask questions. You try to figure out what they want. You write it down so the owner (assuming there is one who gives a damn) can see what people are actually willing to pay for. That is literally how businesses learn what to stock and what to drop. That is how money is made. Treating a customer's request like an inconvenience is how you guarantee they never come back and never recommend you. I started looking around myself because it was clear I wasn't going to get any help. I found some Backwoods that looked interesting and asked a simple, normal sales question: do these sell well? Once again--no clue. Zero product knowledge. Zero interest. The entire interaction felt like I was bothering someone who would rather be anywhere else. Short answers. Flat energy. Zero warmth. No attempt at hospitality, no attempt at salesmanship, no attempt at even basic customer service. It wasn't just unhelpful; it was actively off-putting. This is not a minor staffing hiccup. This is a business being run into the ground by someone who either doesn't know how to hire, doesn't know how to train, or doesn't care enough to do either. A smoke shop is a retail environment. People come in wanting products, recommendations, and a halfway decent experience. When the person behind the counter treats every question like a burden and every customer like an interruption, the store becomes a ghost town. And looking around at the empty floor on a Saturday morning, it is obvious that is exactly what has happened here. Businesses do not survive on product alone. They survive on people who want to be there, who understand the inventory, who treat customers like the reason the lights are on. Hiring someone who clearly does not want to work, who cannot (or will not) answer basic questions, and who makes the experience feel cold and dismissive is a choice. It is a choice that costs sales every single day. It is a choice that tells potential customers the place is not worth their time or money. And it is a choice that leaves a "poor little smoke shop" looking exactly like what it is: poorly managed, poorly staffed, and slowly dying under the weight of its own indifference. Owners: this is not how you run a business. Hire people who actually want the job. Train them. Hold them accountable. Or watch the place stay empty while customers quietly decide never to return. read more

Maverick Smoke & Vape - Front of the smoke shop it just says smoke and vape - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Wildomar, California

Bought a lost angel and was not working after a few days and they wouldn't replace this place is a ripoff 30 bucks gone. Vapors beware!!

Friendly staff and a good cigar selection. My goto spot when I need one in a pinch. Always open when I am in need.

This is the best place around. Cheaper prices than everyone else by like 10-20% always in and out with friendly workers never disappointed. (Ps this is full 5 stars the rare 1 star review isn't even about this business if you read them they're clearly about a different type of business all together) read more

This place is only good for the Joints, other than that i believe there pens are fake. They work for a few days after purchase and suddenly will not. The airflow in them starts to cut out and its the worst. Ive had three encounters with this mistake with different brand of pens ive purchased. I WILL NOT BE COMING HERE AGAIN FOR THAT. read more

Manager called me a LIAR and was not customer friendly at all! Didn't try to work with me or was even remotely friendly with the way he spoke. Wouldn't give a name, which is incredibly unprofessional, but don't shop here. Plenty of other places to go! read more

Great place! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I am always greeted with a smile and answers to my questions. They have a great selection across the board, and the prices are good too. Will be coming here again! read more

My favorite smoke shop. Friendly cool peeps. Take it from this old hippie 20 in the 70s now 70 in the 20s. Knowledge, variety, quality and killer prices. read more

This place has very knowledgable staff and the prices are very phenomenal. There is a wide variety of products that one can buy ranging from vapes, disposable and non-disposable, to pipes, hookah stuff , artwork and candles. Their e-juice selection is very good and ranges in nicotine levels. The glassware selection is varied and a pleasure to browse. I don't know if that is still there but I was able to acquire a wonderful e-juice from the clearance bin. Being an internet buyer , I was extremely surprised at how competitive the prices were compared to the online market. read more

I enjoy going here to purchase vape products. None of my products were defective. The staff also takes time to try to communicate to a person who has social anxiety. They helped me by recommending a novo 2 vape. I enjoyed it and it lasted longer than the disposable vapes I usually bought. The last time I went, the usual disposable vapes were not there. read more

I was greeted by a man named Nick and was super friendly. I'm on tough times and helped me out with selecting the best vapes available that they had. Definitely recommend coming here. Thanks again for the awesome experience read more

I've tried this place 3 separate times and every time workers were rude and my bangs were burnt. Also, severely over priced for something that doesn't work. The shop is conveniently located next to me but I'd rather go out of my way to get better quality, at maverick they're overpriced and have the worst quality. Their disposables are fake. read more

Place is ELWACKO. I only go there when petro is low . Mainly because there isn't any point system and no quality customer service. They literally yell at you what you want so be ready to know what you want!! read more

every time i've been here, the workers weren't wearing masks and this time neither were a lot of the customers. i thought this place was cool but the complete lack of consideration for their customers and their community in the midst of a pandemic is disgusting. do better. read more
