We bought our first Ideal home in 2017. We built from the ground up. Sold it once our kids moved…read moreout. We decided to buy again and of course with the great experience the first time, we decided to buy from Ideal an already built home. We closed at the end of January of this year and so far the only issue we've had are the LVP floors. We started noticing that the floors squeak when walking on different areas. They told us they're floating floors so the squeaking and unevenness were normal. IT IS NOT NORMAL. The contractors came out to fix and they are still squeaking. No one has bothered to check back in. Ues we should have done a home inspection and we will do one before the year is up but it should not be this hard for them to fix THEIR mistake. The floors literally lean in certain areas. If I could sell I would. I wish we had bought an older home instead.

I do NOT recommend Ideal Homes and I highly suggest if you are considering a new build with them…read moreyou DEFINITELY need to hire your own inspector before you purchase one of their homes. I'm in the process of fixing everything in my house which is only 2 years old, including "fixes" they made which made things worse. Appliances such as the microwave and garbage disposal were damaged before I closed. Concrete cracked when laying sod. So much damage (as mentioned) to the interior between my final walk-through and closing. Communication is poor. If I did not have to get out of a bad situation as quickly as I did, I would have NEVER bought this home. HOA is also ridiculous. BUYER BEEWARE!!!!

All the Google reviews you have read for Reiger Realty are TRUE. As a landlord I'm shocked by the…read morelack of response and reasoning for creating made up broken or missing items like lightbulbs, garage door openers, or exorbitant lawn care fees that they take from your deposit when you move out. I provided receipts for the lawn company that charged us $50 per week, pictures of the bedroom plastic blinds we replaced as one was broken and a picture of the key/garage door opener when we left in the house that all worked perfectly fine. We had the place professionally cleaned yet they still took $440 from our deposit. Would NOT RECOMMEND renting from Reiger Realty EVER! Shame on you Dana, I called you and sent you the receipts and pictures you said you would check on it and get back with me. You are scamming broke college kids and their parents!

It's a shame negative star do not exist because this definitely deserves it…read more Absolutely AVOID Rieger Realty, no matter the price. We were new to Norman and signed on for a 6-month lease. When we moved in at the first of January, there were dead bugs littered throughout every corner of the house, the garbage disposal was backed up, inspection said the water heater was leaking gas into the house, etc. We tried to justify issues by price and knew it was very temporary. We spent our own labor and money fixing up some things inside, cleaning up the house, and had it at least 5X cleaner than it was at move-in, so we expected a full return of our rent deposit. NO, they docked approximately $400 for a $240 "cleaning fee" and light bulbs in the garage that were out when we moved in. We asked why $240 was necessary when the house was next to spotless. Dana informed me that tenants have to pay the final cleaning bill, no matter how it compares when you move out.. I do not know how people feel personally, but professionally, Dana and her crew are slumlords. Find another place to rent.
