I didn't bother to tell him I wanted to install a tank less water system as well. Before doing that I need to know what is causing the water temp issue. I did call him back to say he should update his website to state only installed by their company woodburners are serviced and not waste everyone's time. I don't get where they won't service a system. I thought it was still under warranty but could not find the receipt. I did recall it was installed by BTU Management. We called them and sure enough they had a record of the work and confirmed it was under warranty. They said they would provide a new thermostat at no cost and all we had to do was cover the labor which amounted to the minimum charge. When I mentioned we were traveling the next day and would not return for several days they offered to send a tech out the next morning. And they did. BTU tech John called about 9:30 am, arrived by 10 and completed the work by 10:30. John was very thorough explaining all the features of the new thermostat and ensuring everything worked properly.
