Our Honeywell wifi enabled thermostat failed. Several reboots and 45 minutes on the phone with…read moreHoneywell tech support determined the wifi card was corrupted and the thermostat would need to be replaced. I thought it was still under warranty but could not find the receipt. I did recall it was installed by BTU Management. We called them and sure enough they had a record of the work and confirmed it was under warranty. They said they would provide a new thermostat at no cost and all we had to do was cover the labor which amounted to the minimum charge. When I mentioned we were traveling the next day and would not return for several days they offered to send a tech out the next morning. And they did. BTU tech John called about 9:30 am, arrived by 10 and completed the work by 10:30. John was very thorough explaining all the features of the new thermostat and ensuring everything worked properly.
