From sale to getting new furnace and old one removed. Not sure what could have been better if anything

The owner was rude and confrontational. I wouldn't use him if he was the last HVAC company in the State.

They would not help us because 2 other places in our area could not help us. So we have to heat our air in our house. I will never recommend them to any one ever!! read more

Our AC stopped working Tuesday night. We gave them a call Wed. morning, they were here within a couple hours, replaced a part and had everything fixed in less than 10 minutes. I really appreciated the quick response on what promises to be a scorcher of a day. read more

Wife owner is very rude. Claiming that bill was set in good faith-instead of charging for the service immediately-called 1 month and a half later, when money was not available, to procure payment. I explained to her that the money for the service was supposed to be rendered that same day and that I didn't ask for good faith on payment due to me having the money on the day of service. The very nice guys that came didn't left me with any receipt or anything. Apart from offering a "good faith" deal that I didn't ask for , during the call and since the beginning she was rude. The call suddenly got disconnected and before I could call back, she was already threatening me twice to call police on voicemail claiming that I supposedly hang up. When I was able to call back, apart from being rude, she was completely unapologetic, condescending, and overly aggressive. Two witnesses where with me during all of the conversations and where completely in shock of her behavior towards a costumer. I never said that I was not going to pay, I was a little taken aback when she said that a service was rendered on good faith which was never asked for. This person should definitely needs to learn costumer service skills. I can't believe that a co-owner of a company would be so unprofessional! I really wish I could give the company a better review-due to them accommodating us and the friendly disposition of the service renderers, but I'm a firm believer that an Owner is the face of the company not only the employees. read more

Our Furnace went out on Thursday nite and house got down to 50 degrees. I was out of town for work and my husband just started a new job. So Friday morning I called the heating place who installed our air condionter . I was told they were too booked to come out. We are new to the area so I really didn't know who to call. I googled heating and cooling and found Derousseau Heating. The man that answered was so nice as I was in a bit of panic due to our home being a moblie home. He told me he could send technican out to house and I didn't have to be there. Which I know in this day and age that is certainly taking a chance, but I had no other options to give them a code to get in and do the work. It ended up only being a ignitor and the cost was very reasonable (according to my husband as he did this line of work in the past) and my house was warm by the time my husband came home from work. I can't thank them enough as I know this is certainly a busy time of year. I was very satisfied and will call again if needed. read more

We called on Derousseau Heating and Cooling in Tomah, WI when we built our new home 8 years ago and installed a geo-thermal system. They were/are terrific! Jeff, the owner, is very easy to work with and he stuck to his estimate and was there to answer all questions. His crew led by Brian was extremely professional and the work was exceptional. I have called Brian back for annual system checks and he has been very timely and doesn't leave a mess like some I've called over the years. I would recommend this company to anyone. read more

Our boiler started to malfunction about a month after we had moved into our new home. It wouldn't shut off properly so when it would heat up to the point that it would blow off steam and scolding hot water which is very dangerous and also making a horrible mess. So we had a home warranty that ended sending Derousseau out to our home. When there service technician came out he did not know what the problem was or how to fix it. So he contacted another service technician that came out to see if he could fix it. Between the two of them this is the fix they came up with they found a wire on the boiler control board that when taken off would shut the boiler down. So they left me with this as my solution they told me to watch the temperature gauge on the boiler and when it got into the red to pull the wire to stop the boiler and let it cool down. When they left they said nothing about ordering a new part or even gave me any indication that they would even be returning to fix it. I guess it didn't matter to them because they had my deposit for the home warranty and they would be receiving the rest of the payment from our home warranty company. We ended up contacting another hvac company which came out and had the boiler up in running in less than an hour. And I also found out that the two technicians that were at our house first were Derousseau's so called seasoned veterans that both had approximately 15 years experience. So if this is what you can expect from there seasoned veterans I can only imagine what you can expect from the rest of there company. read more

I have used this company twice the first time was to install a pellet stove and the people sent out were plumbers, not qualified and have never done this type of install before. I had to end up getting a second specialist in to trouble shoot the system to get it to work properly. the second time I tried to get two separate jobs done and never heard back about one of them and the other job cost me close to double the estimate and when I tried to find out why the owner brushed me off saying he would look into and contact me back which he never did. if you do use this company get a signed estimate in writing before hand. read more
