When we first bought our home 9 years ago, our realtor recommended using Hutch Insurance Agency to…read moreset up our home insurance. We trusted our realtor and started working with Mark. This was the best decision we could have ever made! A few weeks into owning our new home, our insurance company cancelled our home owner's insurance. The reason? Because our pool had a slide and a diving board (the beauty of purchasing a house built in the 90's!) Insurance wouldn't cover it. Mark put on his boxing gloves and went into the insurance ring for us without us even having to worry for a seconds. He did ALL of the hard work for us. He fought with every insurance company and found a solution. He found one to insure our home. We also live in a flood zone so he made sure we were properly insured and we would have had no idea how to handle that! From that moment on, I knew we had found a gem and we have never parted ways with Mark since! We have home owner's insurance and auto insurance managed through Hutch Insurance Agency. I never have to worry about either. I don't have to worry about the rates, the renewals, absolutely nothing. I will get detailed emails from Mark explaining the rates and how he's finding us a better solution for a better price point. Next thing I know, we have a better price for our insurance. I wish I could have someone like Mark be my agent for everything in life! I can't recommend Mark and his team enough. Their response time is immediate, they get the job done and they fight for the customer. If you manage your own insurance, you are buying a new home or you know someone who is, contact Mark and his team!

Back in 2011 I needed an SR-22 Insurance Policy when I lived in Phoenix, AZ. Mark was very helpful…read morewith providing policy a that was affordable. Fast Forward to June where I now live in San Diego, CA. From 2014-June 2020 I was with a different Auto Insurance Company. However, over the years, I would consistently receive Birthday/Holiday emails from Mark's Agency. This past June I was forced to look for another Auto Insurance Company. I shopped online using automated quote generators on multiple mainstream insurance company websites. I had to do multiple searches to customize and quote different options. It took up a lot of my time. I recalled Mark's company because of the emails I would receive yearly from his company. I sent him a quick email explaining that he helped me years ago, and I explained what I needed and asked if he was registered in California. Mark responded SAME DAY saying yes, and in that same email asked me for details to run quotes for me. He provided me quotes same day, with different options and listed important details all in one email. I was appreciative of all the information he provided me in minimal emails. Mark even recalled my past marriage status, and confirmed all my old details from 2011. I am very glad that I did not unsubscribe to his emails, because even though the rates he provided me were not any different then what I was getting online, that fast responsiveness and personal approach to helping me was so much better than getting a call from a 1-800 # to complete my insurance quote online. Thanks Mark.

My wife and I have used Mark Molina of RIS for 9 years of Medicare Insurance. He had been very…read morehelpful. Mark called me 2 years ago and said that I should switch from UHC to BCBS supplemental because they offered a better price. It seemed like a good deal and he made the switch without any problems or actions on my part. About a year later, he suggested the same thing for my wife. Again, it sounded like a good idea and he said he would take care of it. He did switch her to BCBS, however he never told UHC to end the policy and never told us to stop the automated payments to UHC. As a result, both BCBS and UHC were both billing us for supplemental insurance for 7 months. We might have noticed it sooner, but my wife(who pays the bills) had to have brain surgery which left her unable to handle the billing any more. I only noticed this error when doing my 2022 taxes. I have gotten in touch with UHC and Mark Molina several times, but nothing has been resolved. UHC has billed us a total of $1857 while BCBS provided all my wife's supplemental billing. This seems like a huge error on the part of Mark Molina. When I asked him about it, he said agents weren't allowed to cancel policies. If that were the case, he should have at least told us to cancel the automatic payments to UHC. We had no reason to think the UHC wasn't cancelled, because when he switched me over to BCBS, I didn't have to call UHC or cancel automatic payments to UHC. This is a warning to anyone using RIS, that you better keep an eye on your checkbook, before something like this happens to you.
