My go-to section is always the shoes, as all guests are courteous of each other within the small aisles and the deals are unbeatable. For example, I found these OC sneakers that are never on sale! They have a good selection of Sam Edelman and Jeffrey Campbell, which is surprising as those are recent bestsellers at Nordstrom's and typically wouldn't get passed down to clearance. Though I've been coming to this location for years, the employee I spoke to really motivated me to write this. The kindest older woman checked me out, immediately curious about my purchase because she needed shoe recommendations. It felt like she genuinely cared about my opinion and was happy to have a conversation. In retail, you know this is far and few. She assured me about the return policy when I asked about it and helped me quickly locate my rewards. I unfortunately cannot remember her name, but if it helps, she said she has an upcoming knee surgery, which I wished her the best on her recovery. She made my night.

The store is smallish but immaculately maintained and pretty decor and displays. The store features a variety of dresses from more formal to business to casual as well as a variety of jeans and tops. The boutique also offers some jewelry and purses and has a clearance section as well. The store was rather empty and they only had one to check out lane open on each end of the store. The problem with Kohl's is that they are just too expensive and I think a lot of things are overpriced because they know that most of the people that shop there just use Kohl's cash to get the item down to more of a reasonable price. They had a clearance sale with items already marked off and then another 50% off, which would bring most items down to 85% off. A woman next to me had brought a particular clothing item up to the cash register, and the worker had said that certain items don't apply because of their brand. Well, that brand was what filled the clearance section so in reality 90% of the items really weren't getting the extra 50% off. Also, when I looked in the children's section, they have cute clothes, but yet again they are overly expensive. They have a shelf of clothes that are similar to Walmart where it's T-shirts and bottoms for a toddler. But even at their price, it's double the amount of Walmart. So if you want quality clothing and don't mind paying more and have your Kohl's cash then it would be a good place. But for me, I just know other stores that have better pricing.
