John and his team create a great vibe and in the world of boots it makes a difference, in fact a big one! The store is eye candy for one who's into boots! John took his time with me to ensure a positive fit due to the boot ( 4492 ) had to be ordered, and I was the jackass to show up 1/2 hour before close on a Saturday. Experienced as I am I had a pretty easy go at knowing what I was looking for, I wouldn't suggest it if you're new to the boot world. If that's the case give it an hour to look and try on few pairs of different styles. John ordered my boots on Monday and he called me the following Thursday to let me know they were in. I was there soon after the call and a 25 mile drive. Boots fit great and they look amazing!! I am now into day 5 breaking them in and they're great, no hot spots or oddness. The leather is starting to settle and conform to the ankle area and heel cup, they're becoming part of me.
