It's not huge but big enough to see the wonder in your kids eyes. I would recommend letting the little one be free to pick out something that they want with no limit. I say that because everything in here is not expensive and is very reasonably priced. Lots of kids books and other things to enjoy. My daughter loved this place when she was young but as the teen years approach she found a few things that she liked but not the crazy amount of toys when she was younger. It is locally owned and is another business that used to be in Lahaina before the devastating wildfires but now has a home in Kihei. It is a hidden gem. Theres a wide assortment of toys and gifts for all ages and the prices are pretty reasonable. Aunty Yvette who was at the register was super helpful and full of aloha. She was so sweet to myself and my little one. We walked out of there with a bag full of goodies and we will definitely be back. Support local and check it out.

The best part of our little visit was the interaction with the store cashier. While we did not buy anything he was kind enough to entertain my daughter who thought that a mind puzzle game was a toy made for her. My little 4 year old fiddled with the puzzle and I had already given up explaining to her that it isn't meant for little kids (or even me for that fact). The cashier made his way over and set it up for my 4 year old to solve the puzzle. He made it a very entertaining effort and even better a learning experience. He had her think through the process and she eventually figured it out. Made her feel so special for solving something Dad couldn't. For this experience alone I applaud them. Sure made a memory for my daughter. I will probably be back before we leave to make sure to be a patron. Totally awesome and genuine customer service. They aren't here to just push products to tourists.

They even remember my girls when we come in most times. We have had three sets of ear piercings done here as well. All of them have been clean, safe, and professional. I always have to sign all the necessary documents, approve where the piercing will go, and we leave with all the cleaner and products we need to keep them clean and healing well. They even have a new healing solution that helps ears heal in half the time. The workers are great at keeping the kids calm, and making sure they enjoy the experience as best they can. This was a fun activity for our son. Even the little Labubus has crock charms. This is the mecca of crock charms. We made sure to grab some of those too. I was a little disappointed to discover they are only open Saturdays from 10am to 4pm, so make note of this when planning your visit! The store is located in the commercial complex along Dillingham near Costco and the Community College. They have free parking on street level, but you'll have to walk up three levels. You're better off using the roof parking ramp at the neighboring building and walking over to the store. When they're open, it's hard to miss! The door is a bright blue and they bring a lot of their wares outside on the lanai. It's a small shop with more merchandise arriving regularly. They have a large selection of action figures and toys, used DVDs, trading cards, comic books and other pop culture collectibles. Don't come looking for anything specific, just see what they have! They have a great selection of Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and other popular characters! Hi Collector is owned by two brothers who share the business. Both are incredibly friendly and happy to have a brick and mortar store after years of just being virtual. They make great use of their space with every inch covered with items. Our first visit there was a hot day, and they provided complimentary drinks for the customers while shopping. Prices are very fair, no need to bargain. Located at the Ka Makana Ali'i Shopping Center, you can find the Kawaii Things store not too far from the food court area. Basically, the store mostly features Sanrio character items, and they put those items on stationary, pens/pencil, stuffed Hello Kitty Dolls, bags & other cutesy stuffs. I also saw that they sold some Peanuts items as well (I'm a Peanuts fan). All sales final when you buy from here, so make sure if you choose to buy something here, ya really want it and not change your mind. My friend kept looking at this recyclable fold away shopping bag, but I guess since it was sorta pricey, she sorta was hesitant to get it. You only live once, and since we don't live on this side of the island, who knows when we'll be back to this store, so I bought it for her. Lol!
