Quality work is always worth paying a little extra for, but the prices we got from Ben were right in line with other reputable contractors, or maybe even a little less. Overall, a great value.

Poor workmanship! We…read morehired the company to remodel our house. For the office, old floor was removed and new floor was installed with luxury vinyl plank. However, the floor starts cupping and creates large gaps under the trim which allows cold air from the garage to flow in. The window trims installed also have large gap underneath, on top or on the side. Bathroom tiles installed are crooked and uneven. Some with grouts on top of the tile. The grouts also start having crack and holes on them after a month. The bathroom sink leaks and the shower hot/cold water is on reverse. We called the company to fix the problem, and they promised to stop by with a time and date. However, no one stopped by and we did not get any notice. After couple unsuccessful attempts to have them stopped by, they blamed us for not giving them reasonable time to respond even though they were the ones who made the appointment to stop by in the first place. We stopped contacting the company out of frustration and headache. There are also minor issues such as bedroom door not closing properly. Overall, very disappointed at the poor workmanship on the jobs done.

On July 14th of 2026 I had a brand new driveway installed at my home. I have owned this home for…read more31 years and finally went from a gravel driveway to asphalt. They ripped up the old driveway that had the gravel, leveled it out. There were around 10 or 11 guys including the owner. It looks beautiful. We had a few estimates and decided on Fossett's. Neil the owner came down and did the estimate after my wife explained what she wanted done. He listened and made a few recommendations and so we agreed on a price and a date. They came down around 7:00 A.M. and were gone by 2:00 P.M. They did a fantastic job and Neil the owner stayed and worked with the crew the whole time. We were home and he kept us posted on what was going on. His crew were very friendly and really worked hard on this. We had some refreshments in the refrigerator in the garage so the guys could just help themselves to the gatorade, water while they worked. I just provided a plastic container for them to thrown them the empties. He has a very polite crew. I would recommend them anytime. By the way, the price was good also.

Got that? Among the coupons in the Consumer Pak that came in the mail was one for Saratoga Roofing. It said they also did siding in addition to roofing. I figured that might give them an advantage. I called, talked to a real person, and explained what my problem was. I was informed that their estimator, Oleg, would be contacting me to schedule a visit. I received the call from Oleg not more than 30 minutes later. He was able to schedule a visit later that same day. When Oleg arrived, we reviewed the work that needed to be done. Taking advantage of his presence and knowledge, I pointed out a less urgent problem with the soffit in a different section of the house, and a concern I had with some siding at a third location. He assured me that the two soffit problems could be fixed and that I did not need to be concerned about the siding issue. We then agreed upon a price to do the soffit repairs. I was next actually surprised to see that Oleg was prepared to do the repairs right then and there. He unloaded the necessary ladders, tools, and equipment to safely scale the garage roof and fix my major problem. With that section of soffit resolved he moved to the other side of the house and realigned and secured the other soffit. I can't be more pleased with the service, promptness, and work performed by Saratoga Roofing. Oleg was very personable and a pleasure to work with.

I wish I could leave a better review. We had a totally different company quote us for work on our…read morechimney and we were going to go with them, but they weren't responding to us. We needed the work done before the winter. The chimney needed to be rebuilt with flashing, a cap, birdcage, etc from the roof up and we also needed flashing put in. George came over and gave us a quote for half of the work we needed done, saying the rest wasn't necessary and they could do it that same week. I wasn't totally sure bc I am a new homeowner, but he claimed he'd been "doing this for 30 years and knew what he was doing" so who was I to say otherwise. The day came and they did all the work like they said. From looking at it from the ground, it looked nice. We were happy... until we tried to turn on the heat. Thinking our chimney was all good based on what George said, we were shocked when we hired an HVAC guy only for him to tell us our furnace was fine, but our chimney was full of debris and unsafe to use. He pulled out the pipe for us, so I went ahead and cleaned it out myself. The debris was over 8ft high and had broken bricks, not just soot and dust. I called and texted George to come finish the job, but he never responded. Thankfully, our heat worked after I cleaned it out, but we were nervous about the state of the chimney. Finally, the original chimney guys (from the other company) were able to come over and put in a liner, new pipes, etc. They said the job that Bill Miles Masonry did was messy. Even my former landlord said they have a bad reputation when I talked to him about it. The chimney specialists who finished the work said that we likely had carbon monoxide leaking through the chimney into the house based on how bad it was. I wish we had gone with them for the entire project because we ended up losing approximately $1200 by having Bill Miles Masonry come to not do the full amount of work we needed. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. 2 stars because they did fix the top of the chimney, at the very least.
