The salesman did warn me before we went over to the "above your price range" selection - and didn't pressure me further after I put my foot down and explained I didn't want to fall in love with a bed that was more than what we had to pay. We ended up finding a bed that was below our budget and we liked! We paid for delivery as well. I was a little concerned that they wouldn't give you a period of time that the bed was coming until the night before. They did call the night before - and the next day they were about an hour late. However, I did get a call a few minutes past the window of time they gave me, and the delivery guys were very apologetic. It worked out just fine, and the delivery guys did a fantastic job getting in and out quickly with no trouble. I appreciated the "love your mattress" guarantee... my parents have warned me about trying a mattress at the store and it not feeling the same when it's delivered. We did not have that problem! It was just as we remembered at the store.

We have been searching for pillows for years but couldn't find anything we really liked until we me Les Davenport. Les is a true champion who's knowledge and expertise far exceeds the competition and not just here in Joplin, MO but in California. Not one person ever took us through the steps Les did to recognized what would be the perfect fit for us. He had me do an exercise to measure the comfort level while laying on my side which has never been done with us before. We must have gone through at least 10+ pillows before hit huckleberry. Girlfriend remembered to ask about flat bottom pillows and Les was on point and found us exactly what we needed. Some folks might think paying close to $650.00 for pillows is a tad bit high but you need to know that your sleep is extremely important and pillows will either make or break a good night rest.

One of the deciding factors was that the salesperson, Martina, assured us that if the mattress wasn't to our liking we would be allowed to return it. My wife has had spinal fusion surgery and getting the right mattress for her was very important. After about a month knew it wasn't the right mattress for her. When we contacted the store to let them know we'd be returning the mattress they informed us that we would only be allowed to swap it for a different mattress in store and would not be allowed a refund. They also informed us that we could only return a mattress once and that if the next mattress didn't work then We would not be able to return it. ALL of this information was withheld from us at the time of the purchase and even misrepresented by our salesperson. Long story short do not shop at Denver Mattress and if you do avoid using Martina as your salesperson. She is deceitful and will say what she needs to to make that commission and after the sale is zero help in getting an issue taken care of.

    Bought a 5k couch and paid the $500 for delivery since they didn't have the ottoman in stock and…read more"could not ship it to this location for me to pick it up" Then they delivered all of the couch and loveseat but did not have the ottoman in stock yet so have to deliver it a second time. They would not work with us at all on timing the deliveries so Both times we are having to take off work to be there to sign because the route is "geographically routed" and "cannot be changed". So why did I pay $500 for a "flexible delivery" that is not flexible at all and is a bigger inconvenience then if they would have just let me pick it up. Awesome couch, horrible delivery service. Do not pay 500$ for this crap delivery service.

Didn't receive half the order, waited patiently for several months but would only occasionally receive bogus updates that they is an open order on the account then no additional information. Finally after several more months had to reach out and took several weeks to track order down to find out that item was discontinued. Then the store refused to refund a credit that should have come with the order. So don't shop here unless you mean to spend hours going through the buying process to then spend months without getting any real updates to end up never actually getting your actual order. Or if it does come the quality of furniture is subpar. Not a good store.

    We have been a customer for more than 20 years. We liked the mall location and had shopped there…read moreseveral times. But our mall like many others is dying and even successful businesses have to keep that in mind. When they moved to this location I told my wife I bet they loose business. No walking by curious shoppers, you'd only come here if you had to, because you were already a customer I thought. According to the staff the move has been a great success, so I guess what do I know. They told us that Sleep Number Corp. pulled out all the stops and really did a top end job building out this location. We were very impressed with the upscale and modern design, the modern displays and the easy to explore showroom. Our sales person was helpful without being pushy and since we are a regular customer we get loyalty points when we use their app and they helped us use them to the greatest value. My only gripe is I think they are over priced, the quality is good and they package everything up in fancy boxes and cloth bags I feel guilty for throwing away they are so nice. but I'd rather save some bucks than pay for presentation. I know thats part of the price, the experience, the treatment and loyalty program is fancier than if I bought a base and mattress from a traditional furniture store. Just like a high end car, or getting your family portrait at a top studio, part o fit is the experience and treatment that you're paying for. They are competitive with other higher end and top quality mattresses and worth checking out if your in the market for a mattress and base that will last a long time and has all the features you want to get a good night's sleep.

My husband and I have been owners of a Sleep Number bed for over 15 years now. We have had issues with it for over 10 of the 15+ years. At first, the bed was great. Then after a few years, the remote fizzled out (error message on the screen, then blacked out and was unusable). As the remote was no longer under warranty (of course), I had to order a new remote. Again, after 2-3 years, the same issue with the new remote. I again ordered a new remote. After about 10 years, our pump gave out. I had to order a new pump. Guess what happened next. Yep- the remote broke again, and a new one was sent. ***Interesting factoid: The remote for my actual bed was no longer available. they upgraded. The new "upgraded" remote arrived, but it did not work with my "older model" bed. Customer Service: "Would you be interested in purchasing a new bed?" No, I would not. I want a remote that works with MY bed. Customer Service proceeded to walk me through resetting the pump and setting up the new upgraded remote. It worked for about a year. Note: we only use the remote 3-4 times a year, as needed with the change of the seasons. Customer Service decided we had a defective remote, and yes, again, sent us a new remote. Again, it only worked once, then nada, and hasn't worked since. It has been 5 years since we have been able to adjust the pressure in our bed. We could spend another $3,000 (or more) for a new bed, but if I were to spend that much, I would buy a Casper, as it does not require a pump or a remote.
