I have used this store on two occasions over the last six years to buy two mattresses. I didn't buy…read morethe box springs since I have a platform bed. The first mattress that I bought was a fairly inexpensive memory foam type of mattress that had a 10-year warranty. I really wanted something that would mold to my body and support it appropriately. I usually don't toss and turn a lot during the night and sleep on my side, on one side of the bed. After the first year, the mattress seemed to lose its memory. As soon as I would sit on the mattress, I would sink to the bottom, basically to the platform. I contacted the person, at the store, who I purchased the mattress from and explained the circumstances. He said the company would have to send someone out to inspect the mattress, after he contacted the warranty company. No one ever contacted me regarding the problem. I called the store on two more occasions, but nothing ever happened. I blame myself for not going into the store and handling the situation like a professional. I suffered with the mattress getting worse over time. My hips and back hurt so bad when I got up in the morning that I had to take Aleve before bed and in the morning upon rising. I couldn't get a good night's sleep, tossing and turning all night trying to alleviate the pain in my hips and back. I decided to buy a new mattress, this time a traditional mattress; very firm. I went back to the same store because there's room for negotiation during the sales process. When I went in the store, I told the salesperson exactly what I wanted, a traditional mattress, the firmest available, and no box spring. They like to have you lay on this bed that performs several hundred tests on your body and supposedly sleep conditions. They take the printed results to match you with the appropriate mattress. I honestly think this is just a gimmick to make you buy the most expensive series of mattresses. The results were completely wrong for me, which I expected. After the salesperson tried to get me interested in several mattresses, I told him to do what I originally asked for and take me to the firmest traditional mattress in the store. It was exactly what I wanted. The price was reasonable and he wasn't in the mood to negotiate, especially when he learned I wasn't going to buy a box spring and that he couldn't sell me one of the higher end mattresses. I have been using my mattress for about two years now and it still feels brand new. I love it! I've taken my mother there to buy her mattresses, too. She bought the same memory foam mattress that I had several years ago and now she is complaining about it, too. She just bought a new mattress from there from a saleswoman. She was open to negotiating on the mattress, mattress cover, and pillow. She even reduced the delivery cost. It may take a little work, but it's worth going to this location. They opened the same store on the hill where Panera and Chipotle is, but this location is established. I would recommend this store compared to its competitors in the area.

She showed me the quality item that she generally recommends for inner spring mattresses and worked within my budget to get me a satisfactory price which included delivery and takeaway of my old box spring. Karen was polite, low pressure, and very knowledgeable. We spent a few minutes also discussing mattresses and it was obvious that she knew her product lines. I Highly recommend the business. We were in desperate need of furniture as we had moved and our existing furniture had not fit through the front door of the rowhome. My husband and I went to a few lower quality discount stores looking for living room furniture. We were VERY limited on what we could look at as we have a 28 1/2" front door which is 4-6" narrower than a standard door. After finding only a few couches that were going to fit through the door, we did some research on how well that furniture holds up, how long the fabrics hold up etc and decided that we wanted to look at good quality american-made furniture. The next day went to Jarrettsville Furniture. Our salesman, Mike, walked us around the floor and could not have been more knowledgeable about the brands, how they are made, pros/cons of each and what options & pricing they all had. Being able to see the interior of the cushions and examples of how the furniture is made right in front of you is very cool. We needed something ASAP and ended up finding a floor model that my husband and i both really liked. The moment of truth of course, was seeing whether it would fit through our front door. Mike called the head of the delivery department to come take a look and measure who came up, took the cushions off, measured everything and (thankfully) said that the feet could be taken off prior to delivery, but that it would fit! Because it was a floor model they could schedule the delivery for a few days later. The delivery team showed up on time, removed the front door, brought the couch in (and put the feet back on) and took all the plastic with them when they left. We could not be happier and haven't stopped talking about our experience since! Additionally, having just gone to High Point where you would expect a knowledgeable salesman and great customer service, we were disappointed that our salesman knew nothing about any of the brands on his sales floor, which only made us appreciate Mike and Jarrettsville Furniture more!

My only concern at the time of purchase was whether or not my sheets would fit the mattress; the sales person assured me that they would fit, and they do. However, every time I change sheets, I hate myself for this purchase. The mattress is so very heavy that I cannot lift it to secure the sheets between the mattress and box springs! He is very knowledgable, and took his time explaining everything there was to know, and what he thought would work best for us. He was honest too, answered our questions straightforwardly even when the truthful answer wasn't a completely positive one that would help him make a sale. We left the store before making a decision to go to another place before it closed, and when we came back Mattress Warehouse was closed. We saw Glen walking to his car, and when he saw us, he happily offered to reopen the store to do the paperwork if we decided we wanted it. We ended up purchasing a Tempurpedic right then and there. They were ready to deliver it the very next day! I had a work meeting at the time they called and said they'd be arriving, but they were happy to reschedule for me.
