Great overall experience. I haven't had a new mattress since college (15 years) and from the moment I walked in Tim was very helpful and pleasant. He asked questions about my life style, sleeping habits, pricerange, and if I had any probelms while I sleep. He first started me on an adjustible mattress with the firmest setting and then released the air until I became comfortable. He then had me do a sleep test that only lasted 4 minutes to determine which mattress would be best. We walked through the list and he had me lay on each bed and talked to me about the difference between the mattresses and even pointed out that my hips weren't alligned correctly and suggested that I don't go with certain ones. He worked with me to ensure that I found the best mattress that is wihtin my price range and honored a sale that had ended a few days back to ensure I get the best price on the mattress. We just arrived at our new home in Salem, VA and needed a new bed. My wife is less than 5 feet tall, so the new beds with 18 inch mattress and similar box springs would not be helpful for her. Tim discussed with us our options by brand, height, price, and comfort levels. He concluded a Molecule bed would be our best choice without the box spring but have a "boogie board". He was spot on. the bed is very comfortable, it is low enough for her to get in without climbing a step stool, and the price was a very good value. I purchased a mattress and box springs from Mattress warehouse with a 10 year warranty along with a new frame kit. The mattress warehouse employees delivered and set it up. They told me the frame was not needed and were taking it back for credit. The mattress broke down and I filed a claim. They refused to honor the claim saying it was stained and did not have the correct frame. The stain was not even in the area of the breakdown and the employees setting it up said the new frame was not needed. I purchased the set at the Roanoke Va. Store but think all customer service comes from a central location. From now on I will stick with Grand Interiors where customer satisfaction is still a concern. Never again!!!!! They delivered the wrong mattress and want to charge us $200. To deliver the correct one. The gentleman that delivered the mattress was rude. He didn't want to bring the mattress into the garage, he wanted to leave it out side against the house. Then as they were leaving the driveway, the truck bottom out and tore a big chunk out of the asphalt. We have been trying to reach Tim, but he will not return the phone calls. They were very knowledgeable and friendly during the purchasing process. I feel I got a quality mattress at a great price. That's when things went south. The mattress was only delivered to our first floor. In the week that followed we called and went to store to discuss the situation. We were told again and again that the situation would be handled the next day. Each day would come and we would never hear or see anyone. I had to call to get updates as there was terrible communication. The manager has even promised to come himself twice and never showed. No integrity! Be careful, do not use debit card or cash, if possible use credit card. You will not get your money back without going to court. I bought a head board and was told it was in stock, a week later was told it was back ordered and may take a month to be delivered. When I asked for the money to be put back on my debit card I was told it may take up to a month to be credited back to my card. I don't expect that money until I take them to court. Be ware of Mattress Warehouse it's just another way of taking your money and getting nothin in return, they should be ashamed to taking money from people that can't defend themselves. Lawyers take money, and they have it, because it use to belong to you. Update: I filed complaint with my bank, and they got my money back. My wife and I have been wanting a king bed for years. We have never had one in the 18 years we have been married. We finally decided about 2 years ago we were going to start looking. It doesn't take this long to research but we just could not find the right mattress and sometimes we would find the right one but the salesperson knew nothing about it. So we kept looking. We walked into Mattress Warehouse beside Starbucks at Valley View Mall and spoke with Julia. She was AWESOME! I told her we wanted to look for a few and I took my shoes off and went to climbing on beds. I was having fun like I typically have done searching for mattresses. After looking at quite a few, we laid on the Serta I Series Endowment. It was love at first sight. Once I laid down, I knew immediately this was the one. My wife agreed. (thank goodness) After some negotiating fun, we got a great deal and we bought it! We also bought 2 pillows and a beast of a frame and an awesome headboard. We also dealt with Tim when there were some inventory issues and this guy treated me like I was the only customer he had. I manage an ATV/RV dealership (sales manager) and have been doing so for about 13 years and I know how vital customer service is and these guys went way above my expectations and I am a difficult person to please because I expect great customer service skills from professionals. If I know of anyone looking for a mattress, this is the ONLY place I will recommend and the only people I would send my friends to. We were very disappointed with the whole experience and with Tim in particular. We ordered a queen size futon after discussing it with Tim and him assuring us we would get it next week. We needed it by Christmas and ordered it on 12/5 with a delivery date of 12/11. After sitting around waiting for a phone call on the 11th that never came we went back to store where Tim assured us we would get it on the next Wednesday. Tim was going to call us and tell us for certain on Monday that it would be there on Wednesday. We didn't of course get a phone call on Monday so we called him. He again had plenty of excuses but we still didn't have a futon which we had already paid for. He offered a full size futon and a smaller mattress for the same amount we had already paid (seriously!). We cancelled the order to which he told us we would get a refund in two weeks. Called back to find out what form the refund would be and was told it would be a credit made to my visa in three weeks and I was welcome to read the contract to see it in writing. It has now been three weeks and I have yet to get my money back. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY MAKE MISREPRESENTATIONS AND DO NOT REFUND MONEY EVEN AFTER THREE WEEKS!!! read more

We had a mattress exchange situation. The manager Tim Dunbar who we have dealt with before once again made this process totally a breeze for us! He personally came out to our home instead of sending an outside vendor to take the pictures necessary for the corporate office in order to complete our exchange. This allowed us to pick out a brand new mattress no questions asked. Within just 5 days we had a brand new Tempurpedic Cloud adjustsble base bed delivered to our home and the mattress we needed removed was gone. The delivery guys did a great job. They were very professional and left my home very clean. Tim's customer service is always outstanding! He goes above and beyond the call of duty. It's a matter of fact he was off the day of my delivery and he told me to call his cell phone should there be any problems with setting up the bed. I have a low profile bed base and he wanted to be available if there were set up issues on his day off. That is amazing customer service in my opinion! This day and time vendors some time don't show up for apppointments, they don't return phone calls and they don't usually give you their cell phone in case you need them on their day off that's for sure. This is just they way Tim handles his customers. He cares, he wants them to be satisfied and happy sleeping on the right mattress. I recommend everyone who is in the market to purchase a mattress to go see Tim. He will put you on the right mattress and he will always treat you fair.
