I went to Mattress Warehouse after being totally frustrated with Amazon. To make a long story short, Spencer, at your Haddonfield Rd in Cherry Hill, NJ location was phenomenal. I was honestly apprehensive about mattress shopping. I didn't know what to do, what we wanted and was worried about how a salesman would treat a lesbian couple looking to buy a new mattress. We were so pleasantly surprised. Roy was so helpful and so nice. We were honestly just going to look and planned on going in a couple weeks to buy. He found us the perfect mattress and made the shopping experience so easy. He gave us a great deal and although we spent more than we planned to I know we got the right mattress for us. I'm giving it 2 star because the sales person we dealt with Todd was professional and helpful. He arranged for the delivery but told us to call if we did not receive any confirmation by the end of the day. He wasn't at work that day when we called around 5pm, which is the day before delivery, we spoke to Roy, who was rude and agitated on the phone when we inquired for the delivery time. He just said you will get it between 7-9, we weren't sure what that means, getting the mattress or confirmation, his demeanor was unprofessional and said they haven't even scheduled the route yet! Call me when you dont get the email! Our impression is once they take your money, you will get your mattress whenever they are ready. And now go away! read more

My husband and I bought a mattress from this store right before the pandemic hit in February 2020. We didn't even want to purchase the mattress at first (because we thought it might be too firm). When we went into the store but the salesman was so extremely pushy - each time we tried to leave the store, he kept saying to wait - let him call his manager to see if he can get a better price. He was so pushy saying we couldn't find a better price elsewhere. It was late and the store was closing so ended up buying it - knowing that we could exchange it if we were not happy. It was originally $5000 and he brought the price down to $4000 but it was still well over what we wanted to spend. After sleeping on the mattress for 3 to 4 weeks we were both experiencing such terrible back pain that we called the store and said we wanted to exchange it ASAP. Unfortunately it was right after the pandemic lock down occurred... and the manager told my husband that we couldn't exchange it now because the store was not open but "not to worry ... we will honor your exchange past the normal exchange period whenever they reopen- he specifically said there is no rush". The bed was so uncomfortable that we had to sleep on our small queen bed in our spare bedroom for the next several months. Over the summer I became pregnant ... and we were not comfortable going into stores with the virus so we waited until we felt comfortable going in since we were initially told there was "no rush". We also had no idea when the store reopened. A good company would have taken our number when we initially called and given us a call let let us know when their operations reopened - this never happened. My husband called in August to ask if we could finally exchange the mattress and the manager rudely told him we were "too late". This was extremely frustrating for us because we were specifically told back in April that there was "no rush" and they promised to offer our exchange when the pandemic lifted. Well The pandemic is still here and just because we didn't know when the store reopened we were penalized and lost $4000. We still are stuck with mattress and can't afford to buy another one yet - so as we save money we have to suffer still in our small queen bed while I am pregnant :(. We would have hoped they would have offered a credit or discount or anything but they basically said "too bad". We are extremely disappointed with this company and the their lack of flexibility during the pandemic. read more

I had an alright experience. I was told that I was given I guess you'd call them deals. The mattress I purchased was great. The box spring didn't fit up my stairs so I had to call and get a different one. Needless to say after the $700 I had already spent there... 529 for the mattress(thought it included box spring but apparently not) and 89 for the mattress protector which I probably won't use(wasn't aware it was that much) I didn't purchase a replacement from them. They wanted an $100 for the replacement and I had to get it home myself because apparently they don't deliver just box springs. read more

I HATE mattress shopping. But today, I loved it!! Ed was amazing and so helpful. He helped us find a mattress that suited both of us - which is no easy task. Best of all, he didn't pressure us AT ALL! I have never felt like I didn't have a shark trying to up sell me at these stores. First we checked the machine to see the right fit for both of us. He then showed us most to least expensive match and didn't flinch when we wanted a lower priced one. He gave us a great deal and was super helpful. It was very pleasant and we are thrilled. Also, there is a 90 day trial period, so if we want to change, we can for $199. Hopefully won't have to, but nice to know. I would never recommend a mattress store before today. My experience here was the best! I really didn't want to go mattress shopping and had no confidence that I could pick out the right mattress for me just by lying on it. Ed Curcio, the manager, put me on their sensor machine, which is like a mattress but it measures all your pressure points while showing you a little video, and then spits out recommendations of mattresses with the right level of support. I spent time laying on just those mattresses, which were all up and down the price range, and bought the one that actually had me drifting off to sleep right in the store. After explaining all the different coil technologies and spending like an hour patiently watching me fall asleep and even giving me feedback on how straight (posturally aligned) I looked on the different mattresses, Ed gave me a great deal on the mattress I picked out, threw in the box spring for free, and gave me the frame at cost. But the excellent customer service didn't stop there. I was in a hurry to get it delivered, but I had left my phone at my sister's house, several states away. Ed actually had the delivery people call his own cell phone at 7:00 this morning, before the store was even open, and relayed the delivery time to me by email! Now that is above and beyond! It's less than 24 hours since I decided I had to finally face the dreaded task of mattress shopping, and I am in possession of a fabulous new bed that I really think I am going to enjoy for years. And if I don't love it, they have a very reasonable exchange policy, and will put me in a different mattress for about a $200 fee (mainly for delivery and removal of the used mattress). I could not be happier with the whole experience, and highly recommend going to see Ed Curcio at Mattress Warehouse. He's a super nice, very well informed, low-key salesman who will listen to your needs and guide you to the right bed for you. He took all the hit-or-miss guessing out of this important purchase. read more

We purchased three upper end mattresses here. Salesmen are patient but still pushy and persistent. Mattresses, when delivered, had many flaws and appeared to be seconds. One mattress was not even square (corners were not 90 degrees so mattress did not fit straight on box springs or in bed frame). Bindings on almost all edges were wavy rather than straight, My 40 year old mattress is in better shape. Pillow top was notably smaller than the base. Two mattresses had spots. Certainly nothing like the quality on display in the store. Delivery was rushed and not very careful. Damaged one wall and tore bottom of one box spring in the process. A very important point everyone needs to know -- and the company never tells you -- is that you must take as much time as you need to carefully inspect each piece when it is delivered. If the mattresses do not meet your expectations, refuse delivery outright or you will not be able to return items later. Company offers replacements but I no longer trust their quality. Now we face going through weeks of having replacements delivered till hopefully they deliver mattresses where the quality matches their price. Forget what they say about the 30 day trial period. If you sleep on the beds, you still must pay. Overall this experience has been a total nightmare. read more
