We bought an adjustable bed frame here on Wednesday 7/26, but then realized it wouldn't work for a California King mattress that requires no box spring. We tried returning the frame in the original box (NEVER OPENED) with the receipt on 7/31 to be told they only accept exchanges. A metal frame is not a mattress or pillow that could have germs or hygiene issues and the box is completely factory closed. We don't need any pillows, mattress covers, etc to exchange for. It's like throwing $140 away. Have been waiting for the manager/owner to respond, but nothing yet. The sales lady is nice, but I would NOT recommend this business. read more

This company is the worst. We bought a mattress, box, and pillow from these jokers. The box came damaged. They refused to take it back. When we complained to the company managers they kept acting like there was no problem. Then when we finally proved to them that the box was damaged, they kept insisting that the driver would have taken it back, which he did not. Then finally they agree to pick it up and credit us. When I received the first bill of course the credit was not there. Now we have to spend more time and energy dealing with the same moronic staff. I can't say enough good things about this place and their staff. We went in for a very expensive purchase and came out very pleased! Our sales person Natalia was so patient with us and really took her time! We did their special computer test which recommended different options and then she was nice enough to suggest things in our price range. She was so patient as we waffled over different models. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to put up with us. And not once did I feel rushed. When we got our new bed I was so pleased with our choice. So the whole mattress buying experience sucks now a days IMO, This staff didnt help Put me at ease, they put you in this bed monitor thing to tell you what beds are the style for you then have you lay on 10 different beds well that was horrible, then at the end they make you pay 5 dollars to save a price quote WTF, so in the end too pricey and too many additional charges, I felt very very up sold and just went to Mattress Firm got straight service and the price was better. Update: OK I said some pretty harsh things about this company and they still are terrible, but also not that Mattress Firm is also crappy as well and there 2k mattress are worth 2 cents, just buy a memory foam Mattress from Walmart 12 inch kind its just as good as there $3000 memory foam mattresses and cost like $400 bucks, just something as an alternative from a former frustrated Mattress shopper read more

My experience with Mattress Warehouse in California MD was awful and frustrating and simply made me angry. I literally live less than 1 mile from this store but I was so disappointed and they were so unhelpful on Presidents Day week-end that I assure you I will never shop there again and will certainly never recommend them to any of my family or friends. They were uppity and overpriced and if that saleswoman had said, "my hands are tied" one more time, when I knew the product was overpriced since I had purchased it in the past, well, my hands were not tied and I was able to purchase the same product at the Prince Frederick store with courtesy and honesty and a fair price. read more

the guy that helped us was helpful. i didnt have any problems with him at all. he helped us even though we walked in 5 minutes before their closing. the only thing was we had to wait until the next day to pick up our purchase. my main issue was that next day. the man assisted me in putting the bunkie board on top of my car (just to add insult to injury, i had only had the car for 2 days) and he put the bunkie board on top of my car so that the all the lovely nails that were protruding through the wood would scratch the roof of my car. once i arrived at home and my man took the bunkie board off the roof of the car, he revealed the amazing scratch that was made by the bunkie board. i guess i shouldnt really complain or blame him since i shouldve made sure that there werent any nails poking out or made sure that the guy had put the top part facing down ensuring a smooth surface, but im gonna complain and blame him since he's the worker and shouldve known f*ing better! i've never done this alone! nor will i ever do it alone again! read more

I went into this store after already receiving a favorable quote from another store. The man who helped my husband and I, I believe his name was Steve, he never actually introduced himself to us, but was pretty helpful. He had us try mattresses that were what we stated we were looking for, and even showed us how the technology works in the mattress. He explained the technology that is used in our current mattress and why it may be a little uncomfortable down the road...which was helpful as well. It was only the second store we had been in, and when we asked if they could write us a quote for the mattresses we were interested in, they told us that we had to put money down before they could do that (they explained it could be as little as a dollar, but I'm not paying money just for a written piece of paper!) When we told the man I believed to be the manager, Dave, the mattress we currently have and that we had gone to a different store and gotten a better price that we favored, he proceded to completely bash the other store and tell us that they filed for bakruptcy and how poor quality their mattresses were. Never once did either of these salespeople try to tell us why THEIR mattresses were better, and how much more comfortable they are, they just told us how poor the competitors are. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. Not great service, or quality, in my eyes. read more

From beginning-to-end, this was by far the best mattress purchase we have ever experienced! We did the Bed Match which suggested many options for us. The associate that helped us was Natalia. She was extremely knowledgeable, patience endless, very understanding of our mattress needs due to severe back and shoulder pain, answered all our questions and listened intently. We were never rushed or pressured. After many hours in the store, not to mention being in there the day before our purchase trying many options, I brought my husband back and decided to purchase a Tempurpedic. We have always slept on a conventional mattress and after much deliberations the Tempurdedic was our choice and as a cost savings, we got their floor model. It has been about 6 months now and we are thoroughly pleased! Our sleep has improved significantly, with no back or shoulder pain. It's amazing and we feel so much better. I attribute this whole process to Natalia. Her experience and knowledge of making sure you get the best mattress for your needs is exemplary. We are truly getting a "perfect sleep" now!
