I bought an expensive mattress set here in April. The manager told me that if I get a note from our doctor saying that my husband would benefit from a new mattress, I would be refunded the sales tax. Our doctor wrote a note and I brought it in to the store about two weeks later. The manager sent it to the corporate office in Orlando, but I never got the refund. I called the corporate office and spoke to Monica who said it would be taken care of. Then, someone called and spoke to my husband and wanted a picture of him to prove he was a real person. Never use this store We went in a few months ago to buy a mattress for our 3yr child. At first the experience was pleasant we found a mattress that we liked and we asked them to ordered it. They took our order and said it would be in after a couple of days. After a couple of days my wife called to inquire about Full bed rails to accompany our new mattress. the sales person pulled our invoice and said that we ordered a twin, my wife informed him we never had any attentions in ordering a twin it is and has always been a full that is needed to fit the head board. After the sales person continued to be very rude my wife asked him to cancel the order and refund our money. He said that he would cancel but he could not refund the charge the main office had to handle but refused to give the contact information and continued to be extremely rude driving my wife to tears because he was making it sound like her fault that they sold us a mattress line that doesn't offer a full I returned to the store the next day to speak to the manager and found what appeared to be an empty store. Door was unlocked lights were on but no one was in sight. I made my way to the desks in the back of the store where i located a sales person slouched down in a chair behind the desk playing games on his cell phone. I stood at the desk for a few seconds while i waited for him decide to address that someone was standing in his store. I introduced my self and said that i would like to cancel my order. Besides the fact that he didn't seem to care that i was there he obliged and stood up, he asked my name and when i supplied it he said oh yea i have it right here and i already spoke to your wife the day before. I said that is correct and i just need to confirm that it is canceled and i need a refund. He said that he would cancel it but would not refund because the manager had to do that. I asked him for the office or someone to contact so that i didn't have to wait the supposed 2 days before the manager was back in the store. He refused to give me his # or the # to the main office. He continued to be very rude and even said it they don't give out numbers because of "you people". Not getting anywhere i left with no more info then i arrived. The next day i got a call from the sales manager who was very apologetic but still offered no help and no contact info for the office. He did inform me that he could not returns ion the store it had to be done by someone else. I went in to the store later to try to resolve but i i was able to leave with was the office number which turns out to be a cell phone that no one picks up. After to many attempts to get a refund we contacted the manager and eh said I'm surprised that you haven't disputed the charge on your card, i said I'm waiting for them to do the right thing but i guess that isn't going to happen. We processed that dispute and they have been fighting it for the past 2 months still tying to keep our money even thou they offered no service they didn't even deliver it to the store where we were supposed to pick it up. Amazing I hope no one else falls in to the low price trap and get brunt like this. I guess the review i read after the fact to never trust a store that doesn't have a cash register or a computer would have been helpful up front FYI we got a better mattress and it was the right size for a couple dollars more just down the road read more

We purchased a king sized Sealy mattress, boxspring, and bedframe for a VERY reasonable price over the Memorial Day weekend. After shopping around and comparing prices, we quickly noticed that Mattress Firm (right down the road) had the same mattress for $1000 more! And that was without the frame OR boxspring. At Mattress Land, we spoke with Robbie who wasn't trying too many sales pitches on us. When we returned to buy the bed that same day, he was courteous and true to his word on the price he offered. We had the bed delivered to our home two days later and the delivery men were nice, efficient, and quick. NO problems at all with the bed. We LOVE it and are so happy to have made this purchase from this store. read more

We bought our bed late last summer and have had nothing but disappointment. The box spring squeaked incessantly after only 1 month. I called the store and it was replaced, but I'm pretty sure we got a worse model as it is now even more squeaky. The mattress itself is cheap and poorly made (we paid good money for this). There is a huge dip in the middle of a mattress. When you lay on it you would think the bed is 10 years old. Unfortunately for us, it's not even a year old and we got stuck with a crappy bed. The manager has always been nice and courteous, I just think they sell poorly made products. read more

The manger is rude and was on his phone the entire time as we were attempting to ask him questions. When we asked him where the hybrid mattress was he pointed and said the white mattress brown pad - ALL ARE LIKE THAT. He basically sucked. And there are no prices on any of the mattresses. read more

I truly wished I would have read these reviewed prior. The delivery process was ridiculous. Original delivery was set for 12/3 and was told by the manager that they typically are already done with Boynton Beach area by 11. I call customer service and they say that is not true. They did however call me and tell me there was an issue with their truck and they needed to cancel my delivery. They did offer me $150 credit based on the inconvenience. Now it's Wednesday and I was "guaranteed" by Brianna in customer service that I would be the first drop off between 8am and 10am and guess what no mattress and no call and it's 10:20am. A mattress is a mattress you can get them anywhere but customer service at this place is awful. Don't waste your time. read more

My wife and I bought a Sealy Posturepedic mattress a month ago. We immediately determined that the bed was too soft, as per post store, we requested a firmer mattress. A week later a mattress with no packaging or labels was delivered. My wife told them absolutely no way. George at the store said he was trying to help us out. It is against the law to sell used mattresses or ones with no tags from a store. It has been almost a month and after repeatedly calling and going to the store, no mattress. Twice I went and there was a part time employee who wouldn't call a manager or owner because he said he didn't know how to contact them. I asked him who paid him and could I talk to him. He told me he didn't know and come back when "George" was there. He wouldn't say when that would be. I checked with the Better Business Bureau and they are not members, but have multiple similar complaints. I paid with Credit card and will use their issue resolution department, I hope it works. I should have noticed the dirty bathroom and cheap boom box on the counter. Then when I paid "George" wrote the sale on a pad with a carbon copy. No computers and no copy of the warranty. He said the bill was proof of warranty. I was tired and not paying attention. I should have seen the signs and walked out. horrible customer service, nasty little troll like man behind the counter. probably uses his own product witch is junk by the way. we bought a standard box spring and mattress about a year and a half ago for our daughter. it disintegrated 3 months ago as if by some kind of curse. troll magic ?? anyway thru stupidity or maybe ( I think ) be spelled, we went back and were suckered into buying a memory foam knock off. now that I try to remember the process its kind of a blur MORE TROLL MAGIC !! So we walk out having bought a mattress and waterproof cover, the cover was supposed to arrive in 3 days the mattress in a week. one week later we get a mattress no cover, make a call "oh sorry we'll get that right out", one week later no cover. OK yeah me. Daughter doesn't like mattress, so per agreement we go to store to buy up to better mattress and see what's up with water proof mattress cover we bought. Well the troll tells us the policy is 2 weeks, we say its been 2 weeks, troll says 2 weeks from delivery. ah TROLL MAGIC !! we make inquiries about our water proof cover, troll shows confusion and checks his papers !! then he says he'll have it in a couple days, he'll call us to pick it up at the store? wasn't this suppose to be delivered, TROLL MAGIC AGAIN !! Well we never get the call and we have an accident in this third week without our waterproof cover, so back to the store we go to buy up to a better mattress and let the troll know that he has an " accident " mattress due to the fact that he never called about or delivered our waterproof cover. WELL the troll will have none of this as he can't take an " accident " mattress back, we say you're at fault as you never delivered our waterproof cover, troll says well I was in Ft. Lauderdale store all week and couldn't call, apparently that store has no phone or cell service. We point out he didn't call today either, troll is silent for a moment wringing his grimy hands scheming behind his greedy half lidded eyes. finally in on last attempt troll spouts some babble about even if we had the cover it wouldn't have mattered as the cover isn't waterproof. They sold me a defective mattress from some crap company called Carolina Mattress Guild. Do NOT buy one of their mattresses either. I have had nothing but problems. The mattress buckled in the middle in just a few months. I could go on and on here, but needless to say that they are not standing behind their product. The one in Ft Lauderdale sucks too. Customer Service is HORRIBLE. First time, they ordered the wrong tempur-pedic bed, the second time the order was not in, the third time we finally received the bed, although we did not get the tempur-pedic pillows promised. In fact, they give us used Seally pillows that were used. That is right, we got the wrong pillows in a garbage bag with hair all over them... that was our thank you gift for purchase. When we called this company to complain, they refused to talk to us, finally I get a sales associate and he basically tells me to that they are not going to do anything. MY RATING FOR THIS PEOPLE IS, NEGATIVE 1 MILLION STARS DO NOT BUY ANYTHING AT MATTRESS LAND STORES IN FLORIDA I bought a set of mattress from this store, the manufacturer is Carolina Mattress Guild. They told me that this mattresses had a ten year warranty, "guess what"?, after ten months the side walls of the mattress bulged out and it has a sink hole in the middle. For the past 4 months a have been trying to get the mattress replaced and no one has done anything. They have me on the run around between Mattress Land and Carolina Mattress and all they do is pass the hot potato in between each other and I'm still sleeping in the sink hole. Carolina Mattress states that it is the responsability of the store to take care of the problem and Mattress Land states that the customer have to deal directly with the manufacturer. Now Mattress Land states that they dont sale this brand anymore and mattress guild states that the reason why they dont sale them anymore is because Mattress Land owes them money and they will not ship any more mattresses until they pay the bill. They do not honor the warranties and lately when I call the store no one picks up the phone. These are the most iresponsible people that I have ever dealt with. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS STORES, BECAUSE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG WITH YOUR MATTRESS YOU WILL LOOSE YOUE INVESTMENT. read more
