She then gave me time to look around and when I needed her assistance she was right there to assist. She was knowledgeable of the items that I had questions about and very helpful, super nice. There was also a gentleman that worked there who assisted her with the questions she didn't know the answers to. I had never been to this place before and made my way there randomly but I'm so glad that I did. I got a living room, bed and mattress, paperwork, charged and scheduled the delivery in less than an hour. What a fantastic place. Definitely check them out.

There is surely something for everyone. Perfect place to shop if you are looking for a house warming gift as well. Unique and charming pieces. I really felt like every corner was a page from an AD magazine. Service : Kind and friendly. I didn't feel like I was being hounded -- which is great. But I also felt like I was acknowledged so if I did need any assistance I wasn't running up and down the stairs. Value: The pricing is pretty accurate and reflects the trends of today. I would expect mid-high prices. Although I found the clearance section to be quite affordable.

What also really stuck out to me was their unique selection of candles, kitchenware, and even books. There's even a coffee shop located with the store, Novella, that has a really nice, small seating area. I saw many families walking through here, getting a coffee, so it's definitely a really great vibe. Would recommend!

There was a "Oooohhhh" and an "Ahhhhh" around every corner. They have so much! The store appears fairly small from the outside, but it really has a lot. I'd say for everyone's style. One thing I noticed is that they have large scaled furniture. Most modern and less expensive furniture/accessories stores only have smaller stuff. If you have a large space or high ceilings, try I.O. Metro. I also found 10ft drapery panels which will work wonderfully for my huge windows. And yes, I said less expensive. I was very surprised at some of the prices. They also had a clearance room.

I was dissatisfied with their appearance and contacted IO Metro the day after delivery. They said they would replace the cushions, and would call when the replacements came in. I followed up with them via e-mail on May 9th, and then again on June 6th inquiring about the replacement cushions ordered. On JULY 29th the old cushions were re-delivered. I finally received (what I was told) were replacement cushions AUGUST 28th. That is almost 4 1/2 months after I purchased the couch! A couch that I was told by customer service would have the "Cores" replaced. I contacted IO Metro 12 months from final delivery. I called 3 times with no return phone call. Finally, I contacted IO Metro via email and they told me the fabric warranty was covered 1 year from purchase. Problem is, it took them 3 months to replace the 1st defected cushions, which now I wonder if the truly did. The customer service has been NO help. I asked for a manager and I've waited 2 weeks for a phone call.

Snap, baby, snap- Retro Inferno!…read more This store embodies the word, "sharp." I know not much about furniture "except what I like" and "what I like" generally that falls into the Art Deco/Victorian with a splash of vintage Chinese (a "splash" because I can't afford more than an accent piece or two) category. My perfect room looks like it would have been in an EJ Bellocq photograph (sans prostitutes), just to give you an idea. Of course this is the antithesis of what you'd find in Retro Inferno, but I can still admire... and appreciate. Sometimes, I enter a home that is the perfect Mid-Century Modern time capsule and for minutes, perhaps hours, I consider putting out all my furniture at the curb. If I were to ever follow through, I suppose I cold then hit up Retro Inferno and re-outfit my digs. Although the price tags here give me pause (keep in mind these are designer pieces in PRISTINE condition, so it's to be expected and this is not at all a complaint) I was incredibly impressed by the composition of things (on the main floor, which is the showroom. Upstairs there's plenty more to look at and downstairs seems to be the area that is less artfully placed and more affordable). The people who run this place are design phenoms, I tell you. Speaking of disco (sorry, this store really has nothing at all to do with disco), I kept looking around thinking that when Mr. and Mrs. Roper from Three's Company were newlyweds in their younger days, their house would have looked just like many of the "sets" in Retro Inferno. That is, I presume they had slightly loud. slightly swanky, yet outrageous taste back in their day, only by the time they were on Threes Company, the bamboo inlay dining room table with glass top got put to the curb for a wicker dining room set. It's just the natural progression of things when you are in your late 50s and down to make whoopee, you know?

Hence my recent visit to purchase a mattress at a discount store and not NE furniture Mart. I know I can basically get the same thing, cheaper, somewhere besides the big chains and I really feel like this is what I got. I looked at a few discount stores and selected this store after Scott, the store manager, let me lounge, nap and basically take over the store for an afternoon. He was knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy, did I say not pushy...I was sold, pillow top and all. Delivery and removal of the old set is included in the price. They even donate the old bed to charity and you get the tax credit. Can you ask for more?
