BUYER BEWARE!!! After purchasing two mattresses from Mattress Firm, one was clearly defective after approximately 3 months of use, there was clearly a defective issue. I contacted our original sales person that was very helpful and helped me to get it turned in for replacement. Fast forward 2 years and we still notice there seems to be a defective issue but we were assured it is part of the "break in" process. We finally decide to do a claim as it gets much worse. After filing a claim in July of 2024, nothing was done until January 2025. At that time their solution was to give us "credit" for the original purchase price toward a new mattress. Mind you, at the time of original purchase we were able to get in on a sale and it was several years ago and prices have inflated a great deal. We would have had to pay more than double of what our "credit" was to replace the mattress. I spoke with a sales person who I informed I would not be doing that our mattresses were still under warranty. This is just another tactic for them to make money. After some run around with a very rude sales person, I was helped by a very pleasant one that said they would get it taken care of. We got time of delivery and when the delivery drivers showed with the replacement, they were here for less than a minute and they said our mattress had a "stain" and that they could not take it. Mind you these drivers are independent driver not affiliated with Mattress Firm (according to them). So, after trapesing mud into my house, they left without exchanging the mattress. Since then I have contact the warranty manager and several other sales people. I have been assured 3 times the one of the managing partners Micheal Yelich would be calling me to help settle the matter. Not one person from Mattress Firm has called me in the month since last contact. They do not honor warranties, they are okay with selling defective products, and once they have your money, they will only work with you if they can get more money out of you. I have attached pictures to show the "hole" where the mattress defect is and what they called a stain in the shadow from it. When you pull the loose top (from the hole that sinks in approx. 5-6 inches) back there is clearly not a stain. Our mattresses have always had the required mattress protector by MF (which we bought from them) on them as well as a second one for extra safety. This defect is almost the same exact place the other mattress was defective. We also turn our mattresses as advised by MF. We have the same mattress in a different size with no issues. read more
