I bought a Samsung washer & dryer, when they delivered it James (who was awesome) and Eric overcame a number of issues but they were successful. When I contacted them about 10 days later when using it for the first time, there was an issue. Kenny tracked down James and he was there to fix things in short order. When the fix turned out to be something more, he was back immediately and worked with the Samsung people to resolve the issue but remained long enough to make certain it was truly resolved. The issue was with Samsung's failure to notify the service people that when installing the new washer it required a pre-use program for the computer function. The salesmen were typical salesmen and were trying to push me to get something I really didn't want. That was NOT the case at Mattress Direct or with the salesperson, Anne Marie. She is great! She explained that they do not earn a commission, so she wanted me to get what I wanted, not what was most expensive. If I ever need a mattress again, I'll go back and I'll refer anyone I know to get their mattresses at Mattress Direct, specifically from Anne Marie.

The delivery guys left it there saying the customer service would give us a call to schedule a replacement. We never received a phone call, so we called to schedule the replacement delivery. We had to wait an additional two weeks for it. When they gave us the delivery time window the day before the delivery, that time did not work for us, so we requested a different time or date. The representative helping us, then told us that the system showed that the replacement would not be available for 6 months or more. I just canceled the order. Now we have to wait two weeks for them to pick the recliners up, and then another week after that to get our money back. Such a headache! Not buying from them ever again!

The technician for today never showed up, but lied to his supervisor that he left here a half hour ago. No missed calls, texts, emails, and nothing on my ring camera. So now we have to wait a couple of weeks for the next available appointment. It took me over an hour between chatting and phone calls to accomplish this. When I called, I had two hangups. Had to call a third time. I now have a headache from all of this nonsense. The sales department is great, but the service dept. is as bad as it can possibly be. I don't know if I would ever purchase anything from Bob's again.

The only real issue I had was if you get the furniture delivered there is a long waiting time. So we picked it up ourselves. On the phone yesterday I was told that they could do that, it would cost $40 PER item. Today he says no. Then I told him I couldn't make the sale because I NEED those two items removed from my living room before I place the new recliner, that I have to make room for a hospital bed for my husband. He said "sorry, wish I could help", to which I replied (as I'm heading for the door), "No, I don't believe you are sorry at all". He says, "That was uncalled for", and I said, "No, it's my opinion, and I'm certainly entitled to that". And he told me I "could leave now". Too late, dude, my hand is ON THE DOOR! I'm outta here. AND, they advertise as a "family-oriented, Christian-based business". I am completely certain I will NEVER attend his "God's Gifts Ministry" church ... EVER. He couldn't care less about us needing room for a hospital bed, that we are seniors, that Ed is a veteran, or a myriad of other plights we are facing right now. They advertise that if anyone needs any kind of prayer, "Just call us, we'll be glad to pray with you". You bet. Real Christian folks there. Just another example of why many people choose not to attend a church. Hypocrite, holier-than-thou's.

We ended up saving a large amount on a mattress and it was the most pain-free experience ever! We had done our research and were feeling overwhelmed at the sheer number of mattresses out there. We stopped by Preferred Mattress and provided some info about what type mattress we were looking for. Ed replied with three or four that they had in stock. We went to Macy's before to try them out but the sales staff was too pushy. After checking out a few at Preferred Mattress we picked out one we loved. It was placed in our bedroom later that day. Pricing was insanely good. Delivery guys were great. The whole experience was super easy. Highly recommend! If you need a bed go see Ed!!!! P.S.
