We stopped by Preferred Mattress and provided some info about what type mattress we were looking for. Ed replied with three or four that they had in stock. We went to Macy's before to try them out but the sales staff was too pushy. After checking out a few at Preferred Mattress we picked out one we loved. It was placed in our bedroom later that day. Pricing was insanely good. Delivery guys were great. The whole experience was super easy. Highly recommend! If you need a bed go see Ed!!!! P.S. It was just right with the level of comfort and the level of softness. Therefore my boyfriend brought the luxe adapt mattress set that same day at this place. The store owner was nice and pleasant. The store has free delivery and haul away old mattress which is great. We actually got our mattress and foundation delivered this morning. The delivery went fast, smooth and on time. Jeff G at this location really helped us out…read more Tempur Pedic has, by far, the worst customer service for a supposedly high end brand, and Jeff spent hours tracking down an old invoice and sent me back up copies because, despite sending Tempur Pedic copies of all the various tags on my mattress, they refused to process my warranty. Spoiler alert, they still sent the wrong size bed replacement. But, Jeff was so friendly, if we do need a non Tempur Pedic mattress we will visit him to make a purchase.

The staff working here were professional and seemed to be genuine and knowledgeable. I appreciated that they wanted to find the most supportive mattress for me rather than wanting to sell me a more pricey one to increase profit. The sales person was very helpful, explained the differences, and made suggestions. They gave us a delivery date and stuck to it. (we even went back and bought some awsome pillows) We price shopped before we bought (as best we could, using the internet to find which mattresses are the same as which other mattresses because national chains rename mattresses to make it harder to compare). Turns out the mattress we purchased at Mattresses & More for $1249 (and free delivery and haul away), was the same mattress we liked at Mattress Firm but they wanted $1549 (on sale) plus $59 for delivery and haul away.

I purchased a Dr. Breuss bed from Jen at this store at the end of last year. It took several weeks…read moreto receive the bed. After getting the run around from the store for several weeks and after repeated calls to them, they indicated there was a problem with the delivery company (I later found out that the original company contracted to deliver was no longer servicing this manufacturer.) The bed finally arrived, almost a month later ,and all was good (until the bed started sagging where I slept. I decided to rotate the bed, this is when I noticed that the bed tag said "sample" on it. This surprised me because I did not purchase a floor sample and why did I have to wait a month if I did. I contacted the store and told Jen that I did not purchase a floor sample and was very unhappy about this. She said that the floor sample was never on the floor and stored in their storage area downstairs. Her word to mine that it was never on the floor. To make a long story short. This situation has gone on for six months now. I am still getting the run around from the store and Jen. She says she is the manager and the decision is hers to make. According to Manager Jen, this is a reputable family run business that has been around for many years. I believe she was insinuating that they are a good firm. I would have agreed initially, as I decided to make this very large purchase from them. Purchasing a new mattress is a very costly undertaking and I did not make the decision easily. To resolve the issue, Jen wants me to use the warranty on the bed (provided by a third party), which will allow a new bed selection. I don't want to choose a new bed from a new bed manufacturer after I researched and found what I thought was the perfect bed. I am not happy. I will not refer anyone to this company ever again. By the way, the bed I selected, after researching beds for more than 1 year, is no longer being sold by this company. Basically, for six months I was under the impression that they would replace the bed once it became available. Not so. I am done! No recommendations coming from St. Louis for Mattresses and More!

I bought a mechanical bed and mattress with all the bells and whistles in October of 2024. Monday…read morethe bed made a loud popping sound and dropped flat. The man I contacted was extremely concerned and he came to my home the next day and repaired the bed. Then he said he would keep extra parts in stock in case we had another problem. From the day I bought the bed they have been very friendly and helpful. I even bought 3 sets of their wonderful fitted sheets. This was also on Memorial Day!!
