The price was VERY reasonable as I ended up paying a fraction of the price that other stores charged while receiving a mattress that was far superior in both quality and durability. The saleswoman was very kind and knowledgeable. The delivery was timely and everything was super smooth. I can't say enough good things about this place. This place truly is a local gem and I would urge anyone looking for a new bed, especially an ultra firm one, to come here.

We found 2 great mattresses with George's help and he gave us an excellent deal on both of them. They had a wide variety of mattresses- extra firm to extra soft, high end to budget friendly. We visited multiple different mattress stores and are glad that we stopped at Mattress Firm because their selection and prices were the best around Cleveland. To start the appointment he discussed the differences in ours and theirs. I am not really sure what company the comparison was against because other cabinets I looked at were very similar to northeast factory direct. I then felt pressured to pick the exact cabinet selection. He said they had off the shelf and then more custom cabinets and he made it seem like I couldn't change my mind. I had a design layout and then he proceed to recreate it in his system even though I asked him to offer his own ideas. I just left feeling that no personalization was made to the process. Plus their prices were higher. I suggest shopping around before making a decision.

It's been a year now, and I love this thing. Works perfectly. We also had some guys out to do work on a washer and dryer and had a great experience with them as well. They also have lots of appliances, antique and new, as well as new mattresses for a pretty teeny price. I'm tempted to also go back for their bed frames, since mine is on it's way out. And for only $20-25, you really can't beat that. I'm excited to come back when they get some new antiques in, but for the time being this place is packed with interesting things. I say packed because it's literally a hodge-podge of cool stuff piled on top of each other into a maze that's almost impossible to get through. That's how you know it's going to be good. Like I mentioned before, the gents there seemed relatively open to negotiation on some of the antique furniture pieces, so don't be too shy to ask. If you can get past the pure terror of hanging out in the neighborhood, you'll definitely be rewarded with treasures for cheap.

I was pleased with our sales guy Bobby and also the manager with the super cool tattoos. Our family spent time sitting on different furniture sets and we were pleased with our final choice (not pictured). The snack section in the back was clutch. We were able to grab a quick bite and look around some more. Financing options were easy to understand. Delivery went really well. The movers were courteous and cleaned up behind themselves.

I am very torn on an appropriate star rating for this review. Experience with our order was…read moreatrocious but the product is quality. Went into the factory store to order a new customized mattress set, during that process we had a long discussion with the lady we dealt with. The discussion focused around how our current bed setup was literally falling apart and we needed to replace everything, mattress, box spring, frame. We also explained how we needed delivery to set everything up and remove what we had because my wife has medical issues and during things ourself would be difficult. Come delivery day, they arrive and quickly take the old mattress and box spring out of the house and get the new in, then inform us that we did not have a frame as part of our order (during the ordering process the lady did show us the computer screen to confirm, so maybe part of the blame is on us, but we assumed the frame was part of one of the several lines of data somehow). We drove back to the factory store, got a very insincere "sorry" as we purchased a frame to take home. During that we obviously complained about the process and was told there was nothing they could do to make it right, no discount, no adjustment to delivery fee, nothing. So we had to take the frame home and set everything up ourselves. After getting home we also found that the delivery guys left a bunch of plastic from the new mattress AND the old bed frame in a different bedroom in our house, which added to the frustrations and difficulties. Would I recommend their products? Yes (at least after one night, it is certainly a comfortable bed and seems like it will hold up) Would I recommend doing business with them? No - I really feel like they care about the sale.. the money.. not the customer. I have never felt so tossed to the side with a bad experience before & to be told they would do nothing to make anything right is so disappointing. We had planned on replacing additional mattresses in the somewhat near future but Original Mattress Factory really went out of their way to ensure we won't be using them again for those!

The mattress over hangs the box spring probably an inch on 3 sides. Tucking in bedding does not stay tucked in. Something else: we purchased the mattress that could be turned but, it would take 3 men and a boy to turn the mattress....it is extremely heavy and an impossibly for a 78 & 82 year olds to do. This is something that should be discussed with the buyers. Because of the weight I will never turn so a waist of money for us which also contributes to the overhang.
