This I thought was a reputable establishment as I am not from the area and it had good reviews and is well spoken about. It was described as a barbers but as I approached the sight of a hairdressers became more apparent. I thought to myself give it a chance reviews and positive word of mouth is something to take into consideration, NO the "Barber" a young female who as I walked in was on her phone and seemed like my presence in the shop was unwanted. I am a bearded northern man and it seemed like the Yorkshire ripper would have been more welcome in a brothel. she then sat me down and started cutting, not with scissors like my hair warrants but with the clippers making me look like some sort of Essex clown shoe wanner bee, then then proceeded onto my beard and again went for the clippers instead of scissors and to be perfectly honest an Indian or " Native American" would have took less off. this all happened with 30 minutes of sitting in the chair which to me seems like a very short amount of time as usually I have around an hour spent on my beard and hair so it looks like I haven't just thought to do it myself with some pound shop utensils. at the end of the session I as you do agreed that it was a great cut and I was happy with the result but secretly scathing inside which has brought me to write this word of warning. read more
