I arrived early ( they were there) screened me, took my temperature and gave sanitizer. My X-ray was taken and now Saturday off can be enjoyed. The co pays we're paid on their website for "no contact" and I am so thankful they are still consistent, care and the office is extremely clean. The blonde lady nurse was nice enough to hold my hand when I received the numbing for my tooth, she was like a " mom" and talked to me - it was calming and the dr reassured me for my treatments. I am grateful by this is the way a dentist visit should be not like a larger place, the parking was ample. Accessible from the 135 expressway and the northern state pkwy.

I was having a problem with my bridge and went to Dr Mandell for an estimate. The receptionist could not be nicer and Dr Mandell himself was super friendly and has a great personality. I got the estimate and he fixed the problem with the bridge temporarily for me. Dr Mandell is considered a general dentist, But he does a lot more than just a standard dentist. He can do everything from general fillings to root canals and orthodontics and bridges as well as oral surgery. I would say he is a great one stop shopping dentist for all your dental needs. I highly recommend Dr Mandell for all your dental needs. I will definitely be back to Dr Mandell anytime in the future I have a problem.

She offered to complete the cleaning for an additional office visit charge. I have never in my life heard of such a thing that a dental office can't finish a cleaning because of time. She would've been done in 5 to 10 minutes, but I was whisked out of the chair because of the next patient. While I appreciate their timeliness, as a patient, I would prefer that they finish the work they start and keep me waiting 10 minutes than charge me twice for the same thing they didn't complete, and see me on time. I am really disappointed. Thought I had found a great dentist and now I will not return.

After five years of consistent visits, I was surprised to be handed 20 minutes' worth of paperwork upon arrival. I repeatedly informed the front desk that I had to leave by 6:15 PM. Despite this, they brought me into the room at 5:45 PM for what was supposed to be a routine cleaning--and then insisted on doing X-rays. I explained again that I had limited time, and was told, "We'll get you out by 6:15." I asked how a 45-minute cleaning and X-rays could possibly be done in 30 minutes, but nobody seemed interested in listening. When I requested to speak to the doctor, I was told I couldn't. So I left, incredibly frustrated that after years of loyalty, I was being treated like just another name on a chart. Since then, no one from the practice followed up to apologize, ask what happened, or even check in. But the automated texts kept coming like clockwork. I gave it a few months to cool off and even tried to schedule a follow-up appointment to give them another chance. Instead, I was met with more resistance and indifference. I expressed my concerns over the phone and was rudely dismissed. When I said I would consider writing a review if this continued, the staff member curtly responded, "If you're going to threaten us, fine," and hung up on me. I wasn't planning to write this review, but the complete lack of accountability, empathy, or basic customer service left me no choice. It's unfortunate to see a place I once trusted handle a loyal patient with such disregard. Shame on them for treating long-term patients this way.
