The staff at the front desk is so professional and organized. When they took me to the room for examination, a sound machine is on to help continue to relax you. Long story short, my OBGYN actually referred me to him because I was dealing with unexplained infertility for the past 3 years. Blood tests, ultrasounds, etc all came back "normal". She gently recommended the local fertility clinic. Even though knowing I was not open to fertility treatment/a bandaid to the problem, I still went to see if maybe they could get further answers. After feeling gaslit and put down, I went back to my OB to do an HSG. We discovered one of my tubes was blocked, which led us to Dr. Barron. In my first initial visit, Dr. Barron took the time to really listen to my symptoms (very mild) and concerns. He did an ultrasound to see if any of my organs were fused together (luckily they didn't seem to be). He then explained I most likely have Stage 1, possibly 2 endometriosis and was very supportive of a laparoscopy. We had expectations that he'd need to remove my tube depending on where the blockage was and possibly my appendix. I'm happy to say I had my laparoscopy yesterday! He discovered stage 1 Endo, with some of the areas being deep Endo. There was a cyst on top of my fallopian tube, causing the blockage. He also found another area that could've been effecting our chances of conceiving. He was able to excise the cyst and remove all Endo. So no removal of the tube or appendix!! When I woke up, I was so relieved and just felt validated. I'm so happy I advocated for myself and pushed for this. Grateful to have found 2 doctors that supported my journey and gave me answers. I highly recommend Dr. Barron for anyone in the area. He truly is an expert and I'm forever grateful I was able to have surgery with him. Pictured are my incisions. dr. grant said I was what was the reason/problem people didn't want to be doctors! someone had…read morerear ended me causing an entrapped tendon in my shoulder, scuffed up rotator cuff. I needed surgery to repair it. The woman's insurance company was threatening to sue me and harassing me multiple times a day to try to get me to dismiss the injuries as false. I also had a concussion, couldn't hear out of my left ear for a few months, had Bell's palsy, shingles and 3 bulging discs in my neck. I told Dr. Grant I thought I was going to have to get a lawyer to get Geico to stop harassing me, and he accused me of being the problem. fine, whatever, have your opinion. something else he did disgusts me. He told me and 2 other family members he released an entrapped tendon and repaired my rotator cuff, but in my surgical notes he changed that. luckily for me he wrote it on my post op note when leaving the hospital in his handwritten statement. it's the only up reason my medical costs were covered. what a jerk! do better Dr. grant! thank god I had a lawyer because my doctor didn't care what happened to me. that's clear. his surgery skills were fine, however.

They were friendly, extremely helpful and very thorough and clear about getting information and conveying treatment options. I ended up getting surgery on my knee. It was done quickly and well and my follow up care was excellent. I could not be happier with the care I received from everyone in the office. The whole operation is very patient-centered and they are very accommodating about everything from appt. times to extra attention when a complication arises . The personal attention is very genuine and they really listened to what I wanted.

He is so thorough, taking so many factors into consideration for best preventative and maintenance health. He is a Dr. Who listens to and respects parents which is a rare find! He spends so much time explaining things, offering and explaining different options as well as both pros and cons (again , another rare find in a Dr.) He is always available by phone which I love, and has talked me through my son's sickness without us having to leave home. He is very quick in correspondence even though he's so busy, and his receptionist is always so cheerful. I wouldn't have my kids see anyone else for routine care.

It's very large office. I'm sitting in an exam room and I needed to use the restroom when I went out to ask first of all no one paid attention and they acted annoyed when I disturbed them to ask them if I could use the restroom where is it and she just flippantly pointed her finger and said you have to go outside and down the hall by the elevators so in this very large office with many physicians and procedures you need to tell me you don't have a bathroom for your patients to use. What happens if one of the doctors wants a urinalysis, are you gonna tell them here take this pick up and go out in the hall and down by the elevators there are a lot of elderly people that come to cardiology offices and you're gonna tell them that they have to leave the exam room, actually leave the office go down the hall and around by the elevators to use a restroom. That is the most ridiculous thing in an office that I have seen yet that is extremely poor. patient care it's bad enough you get treated like a second class citizen when you come to the doctors, but when the office staff treats you with disrespect when I went to let one girl know that I was going to the bathroom I'd be right back she flipped her finger too instead I'm on the phone. How am I supposed to know you're on the phone? You don't have a phone in your hand. The thing is there was no courtesy. There was no niceness. There was no hospitality. Dr. Lord has been my PCP for over Seven Years and continuing to have him as my PCP is well worth the Hour and a Half Drive each way. So I most heartedly recommend Dr. Lord and his new practice at WellFamily Medicine. My experience with the Front Office and with Dr. Lord's Nurse have been absolutely positive! In fact, on my first visit, I accidentally reopened s wound on my forearm and the receptionist immediately called for Dr. Lord's Nurse, who took me back to a room, cleaned the blood from my arm, and bandaged my wound. Yes, my first time at WellFamily Medicine was Definitely A Five Star Visit!
