TDLR: Don't go here, they don't care about customers. Burnt my forehead and denied they did anything wrong. They lie, scam, have unskilled stylists, use random products to tell you at the end that they used the wrong one.
Full honest (unlike them) review below!
I sent a review directly to the salon on the day of my appointment and they deleted it or ignored it, I presume. I should have wrote it here in the first place had I known they would stoop so low.
Long story short. On 23.08.21 They burned my forehead, put me under heat in bleaching process, two rounds of bleach one including heat/hair dryer to then tell me they used a different bleach brand so that's why the colour wasn't lifting and their usual bleach brand is out of stock?! (Does this sound professional? No), they could have told me this prior to the appointment but didn't. Also I always ask for a senior stylist, but this definitely wasn't one. My hair was broken, after being put under heat. At the end of the appointment she offered a free correction (you don't offer this if they weren't in the wrong) which I rejected, and discounted the price from £100 to £67 (should have been free, but they're stingy so no surprise there).
I am someone who hates confrontation so I decided to ignore it (yes ignore the chemical burns to my head) I was so very stupid and naive to not do something about it then and there because now the petty stingy owner of the salon himself denies everything. I sent an email complaint recently with my supporting images and he denied everything. He DID NOT EVEN APOLOGISE let alone offer a refund or compensation, how petty can you get?
If the owner of the salon doesn't care about customers, do you think the stylists would? He says he was there, when he wasn't? (Why are you lying, sir?) An owner that is dishonest and denies allegation's, then why was I offered a free correction if nothing went wrong? Why was the price discounted? (Even though it should have been free). Why was the arrangement poor? I booked a senior stylist and got an apprentice? Why was the usual bleach out of stock and then you tell me after doing two rounds and applying heat? This salon is sneaky, evil and a mess, beware you might ask for a senior and get a college apprentice disguised as a senior stylist (because they can be paid literally peanuts, as I said before stingy, frugal etc).
Note: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 - If service has not been performed with reasonable care and skill then you receive a refund or a free correction (which she offered me). - The owner still denies anything went wrong? Even though she offered me a free correction? Darling, do you think I would let you 'correct' or even breathe near my hair again? No.
Final words, don't go here if you want honesty, skill, hair care or any sort of hair treatment. They openly and shamelessly lie and delete bad reviews. I will make sure to leave this review on every review site I possibly can. They took advantage of a nice, naive, non-confrontational customer knowing I would not do anything. When I sent the complaint they denied it all. Keep the change and think of the compensation money as charity from myself to better your salon, oh and maybe start paying for some actual senior stylists. read more
