Ongoing Billing Dispute…read more Sent to Dr. Mylissa Graber (owner of Dr G's Urgent Care) via mail Personal & Confidential on 7/29/25 and never received a response. On 3/30/25, I visited your Delray Beach Office (see attached notes). Upon arriving, the receptionist insisted that I owed a co-pay of $30.00. I explained to her that Medicare pays 80% and BCBS pays the remaining 20% of the Plan Allowance amount. Another office worker by the name of Seth came over and said that I needed to pay the co-pay implying that I could not get service unless I paid the co-pay. I asked him if Dr. G's could bill me if by some chance there was a copay. He said no. So, I agreed to pay (see attached credit card receipt for $30.00) under duress due to the fact that I was sick and needed attention. I also subsequently returned to Dr. G's six more times for follow-up treatments. I was never asked to pay any co-pay after explaining that my insurance covered everything. On 7/7/25, I called billing and spoke to Penny. I explained to her what had happened. She said that I had a $30.00 credit on my account. I asked her to please refund the $30.00 by issuing a credit to my credit card. She said that she had no authority to do so and that I had signed a "no refund" form. She said that on my next visit to DR. G's I could apply the credit to that visit. I explained that I will never owe anything to Dr. G's since my insurance coverage pays everything. I asked her for her manager's name and she said that she couldn't give that information out. I asked her where the billing department was located and she said that she couldn't tell me that. She gave me the email address of admin@drgsurgentcare.com to address the issue of having a credit of $30.00 posted back to my credit card. I have not gotten any response. As you can see from the attached EOB from BCBS, there was no co-pay required for my visit on 3/30/25. Medicare paid $132.63 and BCBS paid the remaining $33.84 with no copay or deductible owing $0.00 to the provider. Please issue a refund of $30.00 by crediting my credit card account. I can be reached on XXX-XXX-XXXX, if additional info is needed. Please inform me of your decision. Sincerely, Michael A. 12/29/25 Spoke to Penny again at the billing department and got the same run around. This is certainly double dipping and most likely illegal. I once wrote a negative review about this physician. Over the course of several weeks her office…read morereached out to me to resolve the issue. And I resolved my specific medical non performance issue with her, to her credit. I withdrew the prior negative customer review I wrote since I told her I would do so. Concurrent to my discussions with this business owner about my negative customer experiences, I filed a complaint and right of refund with my bank since I paid for the medical service(s) in question with my VISA debit card. I lost that appeal or right of refund since I alleged the physician, on the original medical exam date in question, never performed the medical services offered to any degree of accepted medical standards or professional competencies. My bank did not want to intervene on my behalf - I been with them for over 24 years. My advise to YELP readers, please be VERY AWARE that this physician is like no other. They (she) are a money generating enterprise. They will do anything or say anything to extract cash $$$ from you. I promised this physician, as part of my settlement with her, not to visit her business(es) again. It may be prudent if you do the same. This YELP posting is merely a caution warning. I feel I have the right to post the facts and circumstances that transpired around my transaction with this entity.

My employer changed insurance carriers and my Dr did not accept my new insurance. So the search began for a new Dr & being extremely picky and somewhat of a hypochondriac who has a need to Google everything, I needed to find someone who understood me. I bounced around a bit & I was never happy, that is until I met Dr. Alexandra Santini, M.D., FAAFM who is with the Personal Physician Care group. Not only does she accept my insurance but I feel she understood me; without thinking I needed to be baker acted with my obsession with Googling every symptom I have & then of course thinking I had some rare medical condition. The state of the art facility features in-house lab work, digital x-rays, EKG and echocardiograms. I had an EKG and it was so nice having it done right there in the office. I'm going back for lab work & the lab is just one door over. I love the convenience of having everything in one office. I didn't indulge, but there is a Keurig coffee maker in the waiting room & I overheard someone saying they have tea k-cups too. I found Dr Santini to be kind, caring and warm. Dr Santini also has a great personality and she made me feel very comfortable. It feels so good to have a new primary who I feel comfortable with. Checkout their website: www.ppcare.net. You can make appointments, take a virtual tour and read each provider's bio. There is also a patient portal where you can set up an account and access your records online. The office is on the south side of Linton Blvd just a few feet east from the intersection of Linton and Military Trail. Poppy's is next door if your looking to grab a bite after your appointment. The receptionist was very helpful with my insurance, the nurse taking my vitals was friendly & making an appointment was easy because they actually answer the phone. The patient checkout person was relaxed and very friendly. She was juggling a few things at once yet she remained calm and always had a smile on her face. A real smile, not a fake one and I can tell. The beautiful thing about this office are the people who run it. Every person I encountered was warm and caring.

I am an extremely respectful person, and Im not a complainer, but I will voice my opinion if I'm wrongfully disrespectEd. I caught Covid at the end of December. I had a fever for a couple of weeks (among some other symptom). The second day after I got the virus, I was in line for two hours at MD Now (Urgent Care) getting tested. After a week of having a fever I called Dr Santinis office and left a message with the Pa. After three days, ( on a Friday) the PA called me back to tell me that Dr Santini hasn't replied to my message yet. So I made a virtual doctors appointment. At the time of the appointment she telephoned me which in the past she made it a big deal to use virtual FaceTime through a physicians network. I explained to her what I had and testing positive and a controlled pain medication I've been on for many years not really keeping my fever at bay. She then blew up, and demanded to know who gave me that medication. She got very hostile. Then she said "Oh, I see your very heavy." (I am what I am, it's hard to lose weight when you can't move around very much, besides what does that even have to do with anything)? Then she said, if you feel you need an xray or anything else go to MD Now and get it, don't come here. And besides, it seems like your on the mend. She was making insults and she didn't even read my chart to see who I was, and why I take a lot of medications. I've been to her seven times, and each time I ask for a refill on my medication, it's like pulling teeth. Needless to say, I am switching to a different group of Doctors. Even if she was having a bad day, shouldn't you look into a patients chart before making accusations? I see the PPC business office reads these, but they seem to only reply to the positive reviews. Ive been with you for 15 years. Would be nice to get a response!!!

The lady who helped me was very nice and professional; thank you! Parking is ample and the building is relatively easy to find. However, I had an unpleasant and unnecessary experience in the main waiting room of the Health Center, where all who enter must sit and wait to be seen. Two security guards inhabit this area: one sits behind an information desk and the other stands a few feet away behind a podium. When I entered, the two were having an extremely loud, private, personal conversation with each other, despite being in uniform, being at work (in a government building) and not being in close proximity with one another. Even though I sat on the other side of the room, they were speaking so loudly that I had trouble filling out my form. When I asked the guards to lower their voices, they harassed me verbally and became even louder. Unfortunately, there are no signs stating how someone can reach someone in authority at the Health Department. I had to call the Department of Vital Statistics in order to find out the phone number of the Health Department Director. There is no information anywhere in the waiting room where people can give their feedback, either. In fact, the only representative of the Health Department not behind a window was the security guard himself.
