They were very quick to take my deposit, but not quick on anything else. Gave me a date in March to get started, but didn't actually start the job until July. A crew of folks who obviously were sub contracts showed up with 1 guy from Becker, and immediately started arguing with them - as if it wasn't what they signed up for. Not a very reassuring feeling. They did a very sloppy job. Crooked uneven flashing, broken vinyl siding with goops of silicon to fix...just very amateur job. My roof leaked after the first rain. Sloppy work on some flashing. I also noted that the drain looked like a hack job. They sent the same subcontractor out, who told me everything was fine. I pointed to gap in the flashing and he said 'Oh." I also asked him to inspect the drain. He told me it was fine. Apparently not, because the drain was incorrectly installed and has been leaking in my wall for the past 10 months, rotting everything out from the inside. I have a reputable roofer coming tomorrow to rip out the wall and possibly replace the sill plate - which will cost double what I already paid Becker. The billboards they have up advertising work for "Roofing crews" should have been a warning. They'll hire any subcontractor regardless of citizenship status, experience, etc., as long as they'll work for cheap. Becker, if you're reading this, you'll be hearing from my lawyer in the next 30 days. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
