I was never told to get ultrasounds instead of standard mammograms. And I was definitely never told that implants are not FDA approved. In fact in 2011 at 48yrs old I was told no problems with implants all problems were resolved they were safe! No need to replace I'd be dead before I needed replacement. I developed capsular contracture soon after my first surgery and had to undergo a second surgery less than a year later -- to remove and replace the same implants. I should've stopped right then. My body was warning me. Fast forward: 14 years of unexplained illness, countless doctor visits, and hundreds of thousands of dollars later... I'm finally implant-free (had a grade 3 contracture before Explanting) and focused on detoxing and healing. Ladies! Please research Breast Implant Illness (BII). From the moment I walked in I felt so at home and like I had a little family for the evening. Our initial greeting from Jessica at the front desk was outstanding, which led to meeting one of the owners, Chris. She is a true gem and makes sure you understand as much as you want about anything you are having done. I worked with nurse Ava and Sandy, who were also both the sweetest. I tried the drench IV which for someone who has a fear of needles couldn't have gone smoother. One poke, easy. I felt amazing afterwords-hydrated, energized and ready to take on the day. They have the cutest seating areas scattered throughout which feel like a true cozy spa experience. I can't wait to get back and try something else.
