All billing for the past 17 years went through my credit card. I owed then $122.00 for those 2 weeks and they submitted the debt to a collection agency! First of all, they should have charged my card that has been on file - or pick up the phone or email me. My agent did not have the courtesy to do any of these things so now I'm dealing with a collection agency.

I have sent him EIGHT emails total since January 29th of this year regarding a good student discount I am eligible for. He responded twice - once after the third email I sent (February 10th) saying that he would make sure the discount was applied and requested that I send my transcripts to him. I sent my transcripts immediately. After a few weeks and chatting with different Allstate representatives, I was told that the discount had never been requested. After ANOTHER email to Aaron, he told me that he would look into the issue and was blaming the customer care team. He told me he would have an update for me within ONE day. This was on March 10th. THREE emails from me later, and it is now April 29th, and there has been NO communication from him, whatsoever. I would rate him 0 stars and recommend that no one use him as their agent. I am a patient and understanding person, but this is absolutely ridiculous and highly unprofessional. Not receiving the student discount is not what is important here. It's the communication that is sorely lacking.
