My husband and our young son used to rent carts but once they started charging a separate cart fee for a 7 year/old, we got pull carts and started walking the course. (More exercise anyways). I think the fee to walk is $9 with our membership. The course is nice/ok. For instance, last week we notice a bunch of bare spots in the grass but when we went last time, they had covered them with sod. Greens are ok, not perfect but still ok. Low laying areas collect water when it rains. My husband said because it's a public course, it does get a lot of "traffic." sometimes he'll get stuck behind people/groups who aren't very good and it takes FOREVER. Lately we have been going late and it hasn't been terrible. Members are overall pretty nice. Have only had one "issue" where one was pretty rude. Workers are nice. If you're looking for a pristine course, this isn't it but it is close to us, the price is right and it's good for our son to learn on.
