Left an effective dozen major issues to go unaddressed culminating over several months. I fell…read morethrough the floor impaling my foot on flooring nails causing me to collapse backward over coffee table, crushing my computer and falling into tv shattering it. Hole remained in floor for 8 months after. Large windows broke during storms summer 2022, left with single layer of plastic sheeting all summer and through winter, not repaired until March 2023. Shower wall collapsed, broken downspout leaving me without a shower for nearly 3 months. Refrigerator died, not replaced for several weeks resulting in hundreds of dollars in spoiled food and exorbitant personal costs having to order take out for effectively every meal for nearly 2 months. Multiple lighting fixtures were sparking, all removed, but took 8 months to replace. Leaving live wires that would buzz and multiple holes in ceiling the entire time. We had a great relationship at first, but as these issues progressed and were routing ignored, the relationship went sour. Often being told to "complain to Dennis" by Cindy who would refuse to contact him or step in after months of being ignored, and when I would get angry, in particular in winter when the temperature averaged 57 inside due to the window and hole in floor, Cindy stated, and I quote, "quit ranting". This after nearly 8 months of living with this. When I told her I would be putting rent in escrow until repairs were made, or months were I incurred personal costs due to the damage and that I would be offsetting from my rent (both of which are protected actions under New York State law), she immediately threatened to begin eviction proceedings, the threat itself of which is criminally prosecutable and not protected by the LLC in instances where you have notified your landlord of escrow holding with cause or offset due to nature of repairs and personal expense. She does not care banks on renters not k owing their rights. They take zero accountability, are willfully negligent, and often cruel for sport. Please avoid them.

Which was what we did. Then she became nasty with us when we withheld rent for repairs. The cold came through our apartment, we had pot smoke in our apartment every single day and only one laundry machine for two buildings, how disgusting is that?? They don't care about their tenants at all, it's all about the $ and the long leases. If you see this company, RUN FAR. Know your rights as a tenant and avoid this place like the plague!!!
