Benjamin Frink with Badger Realty was a life saver not just once, but twice. I went to Ben after…read moreseeing one realtor who was very unresponsive and just didn't understand what I/we were looking for. I know I didn't make it easy for Ben either. I had him show me/us at least 30+ houses between MA, CT and RI. He helped my husband (at the time) and I buy our first home together in 2016, then later down the road when life happens and things don't work out, he then also helped us sell our home in 2018. Ben made what can be a very stressful process seem so seamless. We all had a few meals together, went on motorcycle rides and spent time together while Ben went out of his way to get to know us and what exactly we were looking for. To speak even more highly, the first time home we bought was in Connecticut where the agency was not yet licensed. Ben went out of his way to have his broker get licensed there just for us, and spent more time getting to know the area just for us as well. Ben made the experience quite incredible, and I'd be thrilled to use him again and refer him to anyone!

I was with Badger Realty for 12 years. I had rental property in Pawtucket, not living there and…read morecommuting from Boston was a hardship I found Badger Realty and Jason Badger managed my properties during all that time providing all the services that I needed at a very reasonable price, bringing in new tenants resolving issues, collecting rents and putting up with complaints which was not part of the service, snow removal it really is "one call does it all" I can go on and on but I would not use anyone else , Jason is honest, dedicated to his clients and a real hard working person, most people say that the property management companies in RI are all the same I can tell you from my experience they are not! try Badger and you will see the difference immediately. Inessa is ahead of sales and helps Jason with all the other services, she's always there when you need it, she has great contacts for contractors or anything you may need, she found great tenants for my apartments, and like Jason honest hard working person that will take the time to listen to your issues and resolve them. When I sold one of my house I went with Badger , Inessa sold it the first day it went on the market for more than the asking price (and the seller's market was not that great), She followed through with all the paperwork and supported me all the way until it was finalized . I can assure everyone, people like this are hard to find I was lucky, I thank them for their service and excellence I hope who ever reads this may find the help and peace of mind they need like I did. As first time homebuyers, BUYER BEWARE! This place is not honest, forthcoming, or transparent…read more Pushy to get you to sign on to their recommended services, which in turn were clearly not knowledgeable regarding our specific situation. Horrible experience where we were misled, entered into a "VIP Buyer agreement" that was ANYTHING but "VIP", worked with a lender who was recommended and kind but also pushy, we informed everyone from the start we had some taxes to file for my husband's business, and were informed only after we were under contract that we did not meet eligibility requirements to qualify for the RI first time down payment assistance loan in time for our closing due to our IRS payment plan timeline! (FYI- their preferred lender might not explain to you until its TOO LATE that you need 3mos of IRS payments to qualify for this down payment assistance!) Received a verbal extension from seller to extend closing for a week, which we took and decided to eat it on our down payment assistance loan just to get into this property. Turns out no one kept up communication from the seller, who flew in for closing, and they never actually signed the extension. We signed a termination to protect our deposit at 9:30am on a Thursday. Asked for and received NO updates until a text message at nearly THREE AM the following Sunday informing us that the seller had indeed backed out, and signed their own termination of contract?! On the same Thursday we signed ours, at 3:30 PM?! And they had had "no updates" for us for DAYS?! Selling AND buying agents are colleagues at this same agency, yet communication was abhorrent. Complete lack of understanding the urgency of such matters. Thank god we got our deposit and our "VIP" buyer payment for a total of 4k back- that was the ONLY positive to come out of this experience. Never again!!

Sharing our experience in hopes it may help someone else…read more We met with a realtor from the Nathan Clark team to discuss selling our home. The meeting had a very "timeshare-like" feel (highly showy, PowerPoint-driven, and with noticeable pressure to get a yes before leaving). We were told we would be lucky to sell our home for $499,000, and when we shared that we were hoping for a higher price, our expectations were dismissed in a way that felt discouraging and unprofessional. Feeling unsure, we decided to get a second opinion. Long story short, with a different realtor our home was listed for two weeks and sold for over $50,000 more than the price we were quoted by the Nathan Clark team. Afterward, we did more research into the company, which further reassured us that getting a second opinion was the right choice. I would strongly encourage anyone selling their home to explore multiple perspectives before committing.
