Walking down a new plaza I found this store. I was curious and decided to take a look inside to see…read moreif any peaked my interest. Upon walking in I was greeted by such a soft yet beautifully aromatic scent. I kindly asked the attendant what I incense or candle or scented oil where burning. It was so heavenly. I needed it for my home. She warmly smiled and said it was a combination of many items that they carried in the store and the store always smelled this pleasantly sweet. I chatted for awhile with Laura as I waited for my stuff crust pizza from Pizza Hut to be prepared. I was so intrigued with all the items in the store that I let my pizza get cold. They had healing stones, stones for your chakras, candles, scented oil, a variation of sage and spices. There was jewelry with good quality stones and sculptures galore. Not only was there a pleasant vibe in the store that made you feel peaceful and serene but Laura was so patient and informative as I began to be more and more inquisitive. Bless her heart. I am sure I bombarded her with questions due to my curiosity. I had never been in a spiritual store of this type. The store was organized and Clean... there were 3 well behaved and well mannered cats in the store. We pet the beautiful spotted cat named Romeo.. They were so calm and in a zen like state. Can I reiterate that this store did not smell like there were animals and it smelled more like the asking thru a field of exotic wild flowers Laura advised that the store also has a reiki master, a tarot card reader and those that can educate you on to heal your chakras. Forgive me if I am not using the proper terms.. This was all new to me. I purchased a sterling silver necklace and a beautiful and elegant polish Rose Quartz Pendant. I may go bad and get the matching ring and use my yelp coupon! In addition this store LOVES Us YELPERS! There was a yelp logo sign behind the register and when I checked in I received a Yelp Coupon for a FREE Table Stone.. As I left I thanked Laura and told her that I really enjoyed our conversation and that the store had a great vibe. She stated the owner desires for everyone to leave the store feeling HAPPY! I will admit I left feeling serene and content. Mission accomplished Kindred Spirit! Great vibe!

The deck selection didn't have desirable art for my taste but they have a nice amount to choose from. They also have resident cats which I always appreciate. This natural market is very clean and organized. There are many options for natural products. We found our natural products with ease and took note of other products we might like to try next time. Heritage Natural Market - Crystal + Natural Goods Visit Review…read moreI stopped by Heritage Natural Market recently to pick up some crystals and sage for my new place. The store is definitely unique, offering a variety of natural goods--from loose teas and spices to crystals and spiritual items--but I had a mixed experience. Crystal Shopping Experience When I arrived, I waited patiently by the crystal counter for quite a while. The woman working was helping someone at the register, so I assumed she saw me and would assist when she could. Unfortunately, I had to speak up and ask for help, which felt a little awkward after standing there for so long without being acknowledged. Once she came over, she was very knowledgeable about the crystals--which I appreciated. I gave her a list, but she was pretty pushy in trying to upsell me on crystals that weren't on it. She kept insisting I "needed" certain stones and that they were "must-haves," which was honestly a bit too much. I was looking for guidance, not a hard sell. I even asked if a smaller version of one crystal was available, and she told me no--but when I looked myself, I found smaller and more appropriate options for my space. Store Layout + Products The store has a ton of bulk goods--spices, teas, beans, candies, etc.--but I'll be honest, some bins looked like they hadn't been rotated or updated in a while. I was hesitant to buy anything from them this visit because a few items appeared dusty or outdated. Vibe While I value passion and expertise, the employee's approach felt overbearing at times. I even felt followed a bit while browsing. For a space that's supposed to feel calming and welcoming, it gave me the opposite vibe. Will I go back? Yes, mainly because there aren't many natural stores like this in the area, and they do have a wide range of items. But next time, I'll likely skip the crystal counter and go in with a firm list and boundaries.

The young woman in the Amazon return section of this store was INCREDIBLY RUDE!!…read more Actually the lack of friendliness at this store was palatable!! It began as I entered the store carrying two small packages destined to be returned to Amazon. Since I had never been in this store, I am from out of state, I was lost. A hurried Whole Foods employee with hardly a glance much less a 'good morning' (FYI for any Whole Foods management... this occured at 945am on August 27 ... and yes I will be going to their website to share this report because I am really unhappy!) basically demanded that I go to a door situated behind the registers ... no niceties just a brutal command as she rushed by (In NJ such an attitude might deserve a certain hand response because I felt like crap in this overpriced store!). The young woman in Amazon Returns pretty much pulled the boxes away from me. I said 'good morning' and I may have heard a grunt but her face said "screw you." I pointed out that the one box needed tape and she glared saying "I HEARD YOU!" I then asked for a receipt and it was almost as if she was baring her fangs as she spitted "you'll get them in your email within two weeks!" I am not sure if her speechless coworker gave a damn or concurred or was in shock but I felt worthless knowing I would never return!! I then walked briefly around the store ... no southern hospitality and prices 10-20% higher than neighboring stores plus it seems like the janitorial team hasn't cleaned the floors lately!! I hurried to my car which is where I am writing this because I didn't want to forget my furor at the total lack of customer care I just experienced!!

Six of us came in around 6:30 for a college reunion weekend, wanting one proper local seafood meal out of the trip. We put our names down and grabbed drinks from the bar before choosing a space to sit outside. The restaurant is really big, with indoor seating, outdoor sea-facing tables, and a little market in the back. There's also a picnic table area with some giant lawn game going, which is where we enjoyed our drinks, making the wait genuinely pleasant instead of something to endure. For our first round, we tried the "crush," the local specialty, and ordered one of every flavor. Fresh squeezed juice, flavored vodka, triple sec, Sprite. Grapefruit and cherry limeade were the winners. The pineapple was awful. None of them were very strong, so after the novelty wore off I moved on to something more my speed (nothing beats a tequila soda). They also have a respectable beer selection. Our table ended up right by the water with a view of the boats, and our waitress was so helpful walking us through the menu, including the fact that lumpia is a local specialty here thanks to the area's Filipino population, which I did not know. We got oysters and three other appetizers, then split one entree between every two people since the portions are enormous. The fried shrimp was the unanimous favorite, and the spinach crab dip, lumpia, blackened crab cake (almost everyone ordered it), potato salad, and hushpuppies were all excellent. All of that, plus roughly two cocktails a person and tip, came to about $50 each, which felt like quite the steal for high quality seafood! Big attached parking lot, docks if you're coming in by boat, and the market sells shirts, hats, fresh crab meat, take-home versions of the appetizers, and fishing basics. There was a bit of a line/wait if you wanted to use the women's restroom (but isn't that the case everywhere?) I would definitely come back here next time I'm in town!!

It was really good. Chicken was delicious. The pasta was not overcooked. I don't know what everyone else got for lunch but I did not hear a single complaint and everyone loved their lunch. I think this would be a great place for lunch or if you have a group that can't decide what they want. They have mac and cheese, salads and pastas like chicken parm and basil pesto. Something for everyone. Great for office lunches.

This past week I went there since my favorite take out was unexpectedly closed. Big Mistake. Maybe I should have realized this when the dining room was completely empty. This is because the food is terrible! The only thing worth the money was my granddaughters butter noodles, prepackaged apple sauce and rice Krispy treat. The potstickers of the past were so good, pan fried to perfection. Now you get a soggy, streamed mess. Thank gawd there was the overly salty dipping sauce. But that wasn't the biggest disappointment. The spicy Korean steak noodles had only three pieces of sad steak in the entire bowl of noodles. My husband reminded me that the last time we were here we said we would never come back. This time that is a fact.
