    You're better off renting a townhouse in Conshy…read more They use the amenities to rope you in, but I've never seen a management designed to screw over/control their residents like Courts. one the get you in, you will see rents jacked up like crazy every year. When I first got in we were paying $2400 a month. Two years later, theyre asking for $3100. If you want to go month-to-month, expected them to double your original rent. Not to mention how terribly the treat tenants. They make the parking garage layout unnecessarily complicated. If you park in the section that doesn't match your colored pass, they threaten to tow your car. I've seen members of staff yell at people for playing music in the hallways. There was a group of families with these adorable little kids. Management would harass their parents cuz they would run around in the hallways. They have a high pet fee for claiming to be the most pet friendly apartment around. Residents have told me they'll give you a hard time getting a dog in depending on the breed.

With amenities being closed for two months thus far, there has been no recognition, recompense, or communication from GMH Capital Partners, the real estate developer that owns the property, on how they plan to reconcile the cost of living in this building despite the long-term amenity closure. Despite consistent outreach from tenants, GMH Capital Partners' response has demonstrated gross inaction and a lack of common decency for tenants who pay a SIGNIFICANT premium to live here based on the building's amenities and perks. Further, as residents began to discuss their concerns in an online forum for residents only, their concerns were deleted and they were removed from the forum. This censorship has encouraged me to bring my concerns to a more public forum, as they are not being addressed elsewhere. The tenants of the Courts fully understand that management has been forced to close amenities in light of the pandemic and in accordance with government mandates, and we do not refute the closure. Rather, we are deeply disappointed in the subsequent inaction of the building owners to reconcile the cost of living or even communicate with tenants about the sacrifice and potential solutions. Overall, this situation demonstrates that while the amenities (when open) are a lovely addition to the building, the cost of living in The Courts at Spring Mill is not reflective of its value.

    If you can afford to pay $2,800 a month for a 2 bed / 2 bath apartment, you can find somewhere…read morebetter than this place. I recently moved out after my 9 month leae was up and honestly, it's run down. Worse than that.......the common areas are filthy. (at least in my building) There's cheap stained furniture outside the 1st floor elevators, the hallways have missing light fixtures, the hallway carpets are dirty and stained .......and there must be 3 dozen abandoned bikes scattered throughout the place, who's owers obviously moved out years ago. They're chained up just rusting away. The parking lot is sketchy. After my car was broken into twice while in the parking lot, my girlfriend no longer felt safe....and of course there are no cameras. If you plan to be home later than 8:00pm you'll be lucky to even get a parking spot....they are however gracious enough to allow you to reserve one..... for $75 a month. In the first two months I lived there, we had 5 fire alarms in the middle of the night. Fun standing in the parking lot at 3:00am waiting for the all clear....... and I lost count how many times the elevator was down and god forbid they have a cart or two in the lobby to help residents bring in groceries, etc. I could go on and on but now I'm ranting.... but know this... every other apartment building at this price point doesnt have these same issues and there are too many options in the area, that offer a high standard of living, than to consider this joint.

He's friendly and cares about the residents and will go above and beyond. Overall, the apartment complex is okay. It has a lot of noises so be smart with where your apartment is. The walls are incredibly thin and people above you, and around you, are heard extremely easy. Additionally, the trash and recycling is picked up every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the middle of the two building sections. If your apartment is right there, it is extremely loud and disrupting. Parking was easy, unless you're coming back after 8pm, then it's a little more challenging. Maintenance is fine but the team was more friendly under Londonbury management.

The maintenance is prompt and the apartments are new and nice. Slightly overpriced - if you have a 2nd car, be prepared to shell out an additional $600/year. Valet trash is prompt and costs an additional $180/year. This is a great feature if you are a professional on the go. Also conveniently located near amenities and the mall. If you commute up 476 or 276, this apartment is ideal since it is located off the highway. Friendly community. Cons: They have a flawed car towing system in place that doesn't check a paying residents car plates before towing cars away. The towing company employed has a complete monopoly in the region and employ questionable practices to enforce non-existent lease language. They look for hang tags that that can be easily duplicated and are not always visible under all weather conditions. Management is willing to listen but won't necessarily help you if you find your car towed away. The apartments are located off the highway, so if you are someone who doesn't like noise or lights, it may not be the best for for you. All in, if you haven't experienced both ends of the spectrum like I do, you ll either love it or hate it. I did not like my experience in dealing with the management with regard to dealing with the crisis, but the leasing agents themselves are friendly and helpful, so it is completely individual dependent.

    Where do I even begin…read more.. Me and my boyfriend moved in right before the pandemic shut everything down. My boyfriend lost his job so we were struggling to pay for rent, but the people here don't care. They refused to give us a break on the rent even after they sent an email to everyone saying that they would help. You can tell Morgan Properties in general is extremely money hungry. They charge for every little thing. Don't even get me started on the "maintenance team". They're not even a team. Nobody in maintenance or even in the leasing office has any form of communication and it's like pulling teeth to try to get a straight answer from anyone. About 2 months ago we woke up at 6am and our carpet was completely flooded because of a neighbors toilet. Went to the leasing office when they're supposed to be open at 9am and no one was there until 10. My boyfriend went inside to tell them what was going on and they told him to just buy a fan and that will take care of it. I had to call three times to finally talk to someone for emergency maintenance, but they couldn't handle the job so they had to call a company that didn't show up until 6 hours later. We work from home so we didn't have any other option but to walk on a water logged carpet all day that was filled with who knows what since it came from a toilet. The company left us with two fans and a humidifier. They said they would be back the next day to check on everything but they never did and maintenance said they would be checking up on us but they never did either. If you're on the bottom floor, you will hear EVERYTHING from the people above you.. from every conversation they have to even hearing them have sex. Last thing.. my boyfriends car was STOLEN a few weeks ago right off the parking lot. There aren't any cameras or anything outside so there was nothing we could do but call the cops and file a report. A few days ago our neighbor informed us that her car was broken into. Needless to say, we are moving out in a couple weeks and I couldn't be happier to get the hell out of here.

She never has an answer and she repeats information that is known. All of these apartment have MOLD coming out of the vest which they act like they are cleaning but it's not the right way to handle mold. They never fix anything nor answer the request to. This place is a SCAM! Not worth the price and they have hidden charges. Sherry Lake Apartments deserves 0 stars!!!! Please don't rent here. So many residents are leaving and I can't wait to be next later this month. P.S. I have been a resident for 3 years and this place wasn't this bad until this new management took over 6-7 months ago.
