Matrix has been working on my Porsche for 10+ years. They've done performance upgrades and normal scheduled maintenance work, and have always been great to work with throughout the process. Recently, a service warning light came on so I called Matrix and talked with Logan. Logan was very helpful and told me to swing by at my convenience during business hours and they'd run a scan. I did that today and I was extremely pleased with the level of service I received from Mick. Everyone I've ever worked with at Matrix goes above and beyond to take care of their customers...and that's pretty amazing!!! Thanks! read more

Logan and team always provide transparency about repairs being completed and recommended. maintenance is done on time and they're always very helpful! Highly recommend! read more

Had lowering springs, shift cables and short shifter installed. Wow what a difference in cornering and shifting. These guys are awesome.

I have been using Matrix for almost 10 years. They are honest only recommending needed services. They are thorough and inform me of potential upcoming issues that includes a video to show the issue. They are extremely communicative by email phone and text. I will continue to go here for a long time. read more

Matrix always does great work. I would never hesitate to take my cars to them. We have Audis and VWs and they have seen them all. Very professional and great at communication! read more

I've been taking my 2015 Mercedes GLK 350 to Matrix for the past two years since moving to Portland, and they have consistently exceeded my expectations. Logan has been a pleasure to work with, from setting up appointments to discussing service options, he's always gone above and beyond. Their team has an incredible ability to diagnose issues accurately, something other shops simply couldn't do, including Mercedes. Every repair has been done right the first time and my car has never run better. The staff is honest, professional, and always keeps me informed throughout the process. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. Truly a five-star experience every visit! read more

I cannot say enough great things about matrix integrated. When I was looking to have a pre-purchase inspection done on a car I was considering buying, I was not expecting for the mechanic to spend an hour on the phone with me walking me through what they will be looking for. He explained it in terms that I could understand and never once made me feel dumb for asking a question. He even spent some time looking at a couple of other cars online with me to point out any potential issues he could identify from the Carfax or the history, right away. I also found their price for the pre-purchase inspection to be in line with other prices which I had already gathered. Regardless of whether or not I purchased the vehicle they are inspecting, they have now become my go to mechanic for every car I own going forward. read more

I've used matrix for several years for various European vehicles. They are top notch and have my highest recommendation.

I had a problem with my Porsche losing power. First I took it to San Diego Porsche (where I was visiting), paid $2,000 for repairs which did not fix it. Then I took it to Beaverton Porsche, where they wanted $5000, claiming I needed a new water pump and vacuum system. I was skeptical, so I took it to a private auto repair shop, albeit one that does not specialize in Porsches (they do other German cars). Straight shooter, but he did not have the relevant computer equipment. Finally, I took it to Matrix Integrated, where they correctly diagnosed a fuel pump problem. Car runs great again! Honest shop, nice people, highly recommended! read more

Professional, transparent, and knowledgeable. When I called last minute to have my 911 PPI they Dustin was accommodating and was able to fit the car into their schedule. I worked with Maija who was responsive, and managed the couple of items that I needed sorted before receiving the Porsche. I would recommend and am only sad that they aren't my local shop. You can be confident that if you take your car to this team they will take great care of it. read more

I have been using Matrix for everything from oil changes to engine repairs for four years. I own a diesel BMW station wagon. They do fantastic work, are incredibly honest, and are great about communications. Also always so friendly when I call or visit in person. Best auto shop I have used in the decades of owing cars. Great and quick service. Super nice staff. It was very easy to get an appointment. I appreciate them communicating with me as soon as the car is ready to pick up. read more

Quick, friendly, professional service! I brought my 2001 VW Jetta in to the shop to have a brake light replaced, and the technician (I believe his name was Logan) not only installed it in a jiffy, but noticed that one of the running lights was out, too! He alerted me to the problem right away. I asked him to swap that one out, too. He took care of both problems in less than 15 minutes. You can't go wrong with this shop!! read more

Matrix is the only place we take our Audi. The quality, service and communication is top notch and they don't have crazy wait times for an appointment like dealerships. They're thorough, honest and never try to upsell you on work that isn't necessary. They even gave us a great referral when we had a potential issue that was covered by an extended warranty. Highly recommend! read more

Matrix has been nothing but phenomenal. I had two European cars serviced with them and they go above and beyond. They over deliver! Yep!! Calling me to tell me my vehicle is done early. They respond quickly when I have a question. Go over quote before they do work. Customer Service is Five Stars! Thank you Logan & team. read more

A place that I can trust my Audi to !! Done right the first time, finished on time, they definitely know their stuff ! Thank you Matrix

I cannot give Matrix-downtown enough stars to indicate how good their service is! Their technicians are thorough and experienced. And the front desk staff is the best...personable, helpful and knowledgeable. Special kudos to Logan. read more

I've taken my E93 BMW M3 to Matrix a few times now and each time they have been great. From the dreaded rod bearings (which turned into motor mounts and throttle actuators) to a simple annual service. Fast, friendly, effective. Amazing-honest staff! I love the fact they send you reminders of when your service is due. That alone is very convenient for those with a busy schedule. Definitely recommend! I have no issues working with them. read more

I've been using Matrix for 4 years to service my Mini Countryman and I'm very pleased with their knowledgable service advisers and technicians. Logan at the South waterfront location was super helpful and took extra time to answer a few Mini questions I had about my car that had been bugging me. Dustin who set up my appointment via email was also very professional and prompt. I highly recommend Matrix Integrated for your auto repair shop. read more

After an abysmal experience at the local Audi dealership that dragged on for 3 months, I found Matrix and took my baby there! Maija was able to help walk me through everything that needed done and helped me work with the extended service warranty company to get everything taken care of. They took their time in the best way to make sure all of the work was done perfectly and even found a couple of issues that the dealership missed. I will be sure to take my Audi to Matrix for any future work it needs! read more

The cost of repair (labor) increased when we wanted to bring in our own part. We asked to bring the part because the one matrix was using was 3x as much as the one recommended by the dealer. Unfortunately, because my car is older, it took some digging to figure out the correct part to use. However, I consider this the job of the shop as the experts in Mercedes. They would have installed the wrong part, not told us, charged us the extra labor fee, and then we'd have to redo the repair with the right part for additional cost. read more

Matrix did an excellent job finding some deferred maintenance that the BMW dealership service department overlooked for many years. My car runs better than it has in years. Matrix was honest and got approval from me every step of the way. I will definitely use their services again. read more

Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!!! One week before leaving on a 6-Porsche car driving trip to Whistler B.C. the unthinkable occurred to my '82 911SC. It suddenly started idling erratically and stalling. Called my friend, Logan at Matrix Integrated, to plea for whatever assistance Matrix could offer on short notice. Thankfully, George was going to be on duty and could take a look to see if something simple could be done to cure the problem. In Porsche terms, simple meant dropping the engine and running a full diagnostic inspection only to find out the "air-box" was damaged and needed replaced. Additionally, the fuel mixture and timing were outside the spec. settings. The Matrix team scoured their sources to locate the "hard to find" air-box part, reassemble the engine components, made the necessary adjustments, and reinstalled the engine just in time for me to depart the following week. The driving trip turned out to be "The Drive of My Life" on the winding mountain roads around Whistler, B.C.! Thanks to Logan for squeezing my car into their schedule and especially to George for the extra effort, hours, and expertise to root out the problem(s) and make my 911SC run 1200 miles effortlessly. This experience was truly the most accommodating any specialty service shop could provide!!! read more

Came in here to get my VW's spark plugs serviced. Booked online and it was a very smooth and professional process (at least I think so, since I'm no mechanic!). What I enjoyed: - Got a quote through Yelp and was even able to book service through the chat. Best communication I got, hands down. - Used OEM parts! Well I didn't watch them put the plugs in, but that's what I asked and was told. - Easy process dropping off and picking up. - Huge lounge area to hang out - they even had some drinks :) - Seemed pretty expert in European cars. Improvements: - It was 90F out that day and it got pretty stuffy in the lounge. Good thing they had water. read more

everyone I interacted with was wonderful. They took the time to work out when I could get my Porsche boxer to Portland to work on. They let me know what they were finding and best estimates in the way of time and money as they had to drop the engine. Their pricing was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend them for any car repair exotic or not. BTW I was at the Macadam site, easy on and off. read more

Never Again! I am very disappointed in this shop. My daughter is a student in Portland and took her car in for a repair to the cooling system. Although the price seemed very high, I was happy to have the work done. The day she drove home after the repair, her car overheated and needed to be towed back to the shop. Not only did they charge an additional 149.00 to diagnose the problem, but they gave a service estimate that was almost double what my mechanic at home told me he would charge for the same repair. It's unthinkable that a mechanic would claim to have fixed a problem, and then charge more to diagnose a related problem. I wasn't able to speak to the owner nor general manager. We paid the bill and took the car without paying for additional service. I'm sure we will find an honest, Reputable and fair mechanic to do this and a number of other service matters that need attention. We will never again bring a car to Matrix Integrated. The service we received was the stuff of legend. I didn't realize there were still unscrupulous mechanics preying on unsuspecting clients. read more

I used Matrix for regular service on my Audi. Prices are generally less than a dealer.

Good experience to share. Matrix Integrated took care of me, again. I've been going to them since my first German car over a decade ago. Two Porsche's, one Mercedes, and two BMWs. They have always taken great care of me and my car and my maintenence records. They reply to my emails quickly and thoroughly so that I can plan my car maintenance easily between my busy moments. This week, they installed new front brakes and found a supplier quality issue during final test drive. They had already given me an office space from which to privately work, and then they loaned me their shop Audi, overnight, while they fixed the issue (which was fixed within the day). I picked up my car in the morning, and the ~35 degree temp killed the last of my battery. ~8 years I had that battery, but due to my warm garage and the fact that I put it on a trickle charger every time I'm away for more than a week, I was unaware that my battery needed only a cold night to die peacefully. Matrix fixed me up before I left, and it is with gratitude that I share how much I appreciate this team's above and beyond! Thank you to Logan, Jesse, Bryan, Jeremy, Kyle, and Justin! All the names and faces with whom I've interfaced over the many years of our relationship. Love and trust you guys until the end. And the coffee is also good. Cheers, Leah read more

I recently purchased a new to me used car from a dealership. I wanted to have a thorough inspection before my return grace period has expired. I called Matrix on Thursday, and they were able to get me in the following Monday. They performed a through inspection and informed me that the car was perfect and needed nothing. Most dealerships would find "something" wrong and would charge you hundreds if not thousands for the "repair". In addition to their exceptional service and work, they are also very willing to answer any questions and give advice free of charge, customer or not. I appreciate their transparency and professionalism. This is the only shop I will let touch our European cars. read more

I'm from the Seattle area and my Audi A3 TDI broke down in Portland around 4pm, local time. Matrix Integrated was highly recommended by a couple of friends.
