Parking was a witch, but we finally found a spot and got settled in, and my mom and I went to the ticket booth and got our tickets, and found our party(on the away side, since it was my cousin's team visiting Owasso). So, my husband had his dinner in the car, and then joined the family in the stadium.I have to say, it's one of the nicer ones I have been to. The only thing I really noticed while in the stands was the need for the stale gum to be scraped, and it would look great. Over all it was a pleasant experience, with a nice night to be out.(I had not been to a football game since I graduated from my high school in 1995, so 26 yrs). It felt great to be able to get out.I would highly recommend taking a cushion or attachable stadium seat to sit on though, so you don't get a case of numb booty. Other than that, thank you Owasso High School for hosting.

New staff members were not introduced to parents and several of the new employees are not pleasant. Not how it used to be where you were greeted with a smile and felt welcomed at the door. Goddard School is an ever changing daycare. They have had bad teachers in the past I have heard but…read morecurrently they have a whole bunch of great teachers in every class from the infants class to pre-k! I work in one of the classes so I have an inside view, just like any daycare there are gonna be good and bad days. Goddard does a great job at potty training kids and giving them love and comfort while they are away from their families. They are organized and make sure that their staff isn't overworked. Goddard gives women the opportunity to grow their family and be a working mom. They pay for tons of training as well.

I am appalled and deeply disturbed by the blatant racism displayed at Rejoice Christian School…read moreduring a recent basketball game against Central High School. According to Coach Ransom, young children in the stands openly made racist remarks, saying things like, "They love chicken wings... They love watermelon... Look at that runaway..."--and instead of stopping it, the parents around them laughed. Even after the coaching staff brought it to the referees' attention and Rejoice Christian's staff supposedly "addressed" it, these kids continued walking down to the Central team's bench to whisper their vile comments directly into the players' ears. How is this acceptable? How is this "Christian"? Rejoice Christian, where is the Christ-like love you claim to stand for? How do you allow racism to fester in your gym while claiming to be a faith-based institution? The fact that adults in your community found humor in demeaning young Black athletes is a disgrace. This is not a school representing Christ--this is a school enabling racism. To the leadership of Rejoice Christian: What are you doing to address this? What message are you sending to your students, both white and Black? If you are unwilling to hold your community accountable, then your Christianity is nothing more than a hollow title.
