Your child will thank you. This place is ridiculously priced and for what worksheets and a lot of attitude when your child asks them for help.

Not only have my SAT scores and grades improved, but also I have built more skills on tackling homework and assignments at school. The tutors are one of the best around and know how to help every student. The staff is also VERY kind and understanding and are willing to work around your schedule and they always great you with a smile as soon as you walk in! Apart from SAT prep and homework help, I also take Russian at C2. They were extremely helpful in finding me a tutor for Russian and can find you a tutor in whatever other subject you might need. From the university I attend to the amount I succeed, I know I will have C2 to thank for all it! Ask for Mr.Terry if you need help with any sort of math! He is one of the best tutors I have ever had. However, with a few months of help, I got my score up to a 2190 and I got into the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech, my dream school. The tutors are very knowledgeable, both in what they are teaching, and in how to best teach it. They are also easy to talk to and the small groups that the sessions are in makes it easier to ask questions. It really was a good experience and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a bump in SAT scores or to anyone who just needs help with a school subject. C2 will help you advance in both!

After a month, there was improvement, but two months in, he is reading books on his own! The homework is simple and fun enough that it isn't too tedious to do everyday and there is a lot of strategy behind the homework - repetitive, rhyming and even boxes that match the shape of letters which I haven't seen before in other worksheets or school homework. The teachers and coaches are all supportive & keep us updated enough but don't flood us with information either. Drop off and pick up has been very easy. I plan to keep my son here for as long as he's still excelling and plan to have my younger ones attend as well once they are in first grade although I've debating on kindergarten for my middle and Ms Cho (owner) said she'd do an assessment but usually recommends starting them a little older which I appreciate her guidance which also saves me $ and gave me peace of mind. Can't say enough great stuff about this location & the program.

I signed my children in math originally. After seeing their great progress at school, we decided to sign them for reading as well. I wish I had signed them for Kumon reading from the beginning. I highly recommend Kumon. It creates a strong foundation in math and reading. It is very important to understand that you need to give it TIME, as the aim of the class is to rebuild the foundation! Time is needed to rearrange thinking process and problem-solving skills, but after a while the progress is impressively rapid!!! We have been with the Bristow Kumon center since they opened. It is a great center. The instructor is very kind and patient with the kids. She spends a lot of time individually with children to make sure they master the skills at each level. She has been great in her communication with us regarding the kids' progress on a regular basis. I highly recommend this center!

I love how welcoming the center director, Gary, and the education coordinator, Isabelle, are to questions and concerns. Whenever I need to change my schedule or talk about any problems I have with my classes, Gary and Isabelle are always open to helping me to the best of their abilities. Furthermore, the tutors at C2 are amazing! Dr. Alan, for example, got me through freshman year conceptual physics and taught me different strategies for solving problems as my math courses in school became more complex. Sean and Kate have taught me to improve my writing style and utilization of rhetorical strategies as well. The fact that they, along with other tutors offer workshops in study skills definitely helped me understand how to work smarter and more efficiently. Overall, my experience at C2 has allowed for me to thrive and excel in school. C2 definitely gives you the assistance and practice you need for school, college, and real-life applications.
