I just spent the weekend with my 2 year old niece for the first time in 6 months. After an hour of calm puzzling and being regaled with stories of "Ms. Julia" I had to call my sis-in-law to remind me who that was and ask what she'd done with my tantrum-y doll. She told me more about TTC "toddler-tutor" program and whoa. It's really working, not just with the puzzling but also how easily a lot of our activities turned into learning games of counting and recognition throughout her visit.
