The communication is timely and thorough. End of day report is detailed with pictures, commentary, and timestamps. The rooms are spacious, with lots of natural light, and includes an indoor gym equipped with whatever the kiddos could want for a dreary day. The ratio is 2 teachers:7 kiddos so they get so much individualized care. The teachers really care. . . my daughter regularly comes home with gifts gifted from the teachers that they did not make/projects for away from school. They are also super flexible - we go once a week to accommodate swim. They have summer programs now. We are so sad the school year is over. Flash forward, my twins are here, in the NICU, and I have to start preparations for them despite the fact that they can't be home yet. I had previously tried emailing Lightbridge to confirm and received no response. I finally had time to call and they let me know that they do not, in fact, have room for our twins. We are starting the daycare search over, which will likely be absolutely impossible at this point, considering there are two of them. We're left without child care, with twins in the NICU, incredibly stressed out. Do yourself a favor and get in writing that they will have a spot for your child so you don't end up like us.

It has been very beneficial for our son (started at 3 months, now 6 months) at this daycare. Jackie was wonderful during our tour and patiently answered all of my questions. Not only do I enjoy the staff, I love getting updates on how he is doing and the daily detailed report after pickup. We know he is not only in a safe space, but learning how to be socialized and new activities to help him learn. One thing that really stuck out, is their flexible calendar schedule. Not many centers offer this option, and it is what we need for our family. We are very happy to be a member of the Play & Learn Lansdale Family and excited to have our son there.

I have been taking classes for two years at a community studio, but my first 9 hours with Melissa was life-changing for me in this craft. I was able to refine my skills to create better pieces. Her attention to details is passed on to her students. But, and this is important--she teaches you the "how" for each piece. She is explicit in her instruction. This explicit and individual instruction is major when creating pottery, as there are so many steps, techniques, skills, and small, important details needed to be successful in pottery. I then met with her for another 6 hours and made a teapot--incorporating many pottery skills. My experiences with clay have been a roller coaster, as this craft is simple and complex at the same time. My time as a student of Melissa has been one of my best pottery experiences.

Although, what is wrong with this school is the Owners and Management; their lack of communication skills are limited to children only, when it comes to speaking with Adult Parents - they belittle parents like they are are the children, and when confronted with how discontent I was becoming while getting yelled at by the owner Kate over the phone - she threaten me with calling the Police, and to use Video & Audio recording against me....when I did and said nothing wrong. After accepting her threat to call the police, she receded her words.....proceeded to contact to the police herself first, and told them that I am no longer allowed on the property anymore to pick up or drop off my daughter. I will not say this school isn't great, because it really is. but the Front Office does not handle things appropriately. They should remain unbiased and neutral, but they do not.
