I cannot believe the blessing the team at Mathnasium has been to our family. My son, E, has struggled with math his entire life. School has been difficult, and even our best efforts to work with him at home have been frustrating and fruitless. He has lagged far behind, and we were really sensing the need to get help. After discovering Mathnasium, we met with the director, Rich, who showed a genuine care for E.
E was given an initial assessment, and Rich and his amazing team developed a plan customized for him. And so, the transformation began. Not only has he grown tremendously in his understanding of key mathematical concepts and his ability to apply that, but he has become much more confident and happy! Over the past seven months, E has gone from being constantly discouraged, frustrated, and failing in math to being an encouraged, confident, hard-working boy who enjoys math.
I cannot say enough good things about Rich, his team, and the Mathnasium Method. Every single instructor truly cares about the well-being of each child. They have demonstrated amazing patience, constant care, and impressive math-teaching skill with my son. E looks forward to going to Mathnasium, despite the hard work required, and he always leaves feeling special and accomplished--with a smile on his face.
Mathnasium's reward system is top-notch, and is the only reward system that has ever worked for my son for an extended period of time. They work hard to provide both short-term and long-term rewards that are motivating for the kids. And, the staff provide a ton of praise and support along the way.
