BCG Learning has made a significant improvement in our son's education. We started with BCG for…read morehelp with 10th grade Lit (as a 9th grader). Bonnie, Eric, and Susan asked thoughtful questions about our son to match him with the best tutor available. To say they succeeded would be an understatement. Natalie worked with Trey on his executive functioning skills, patiently showed him different ways of doing things, and supported him until his grades soared and he no longer needed help with Lit. In 10th grade, Geometry and Science challenged him, so we reached out to BCG for help in those subjects. Once again, they exceeded our expectations. Gerald, his Science tutor, teaches the same class in a nearby county and presents information differently than my son's teacher, works through several exercises to make sure our son understands the material, and makes suggestions of what he can do to stay on track until his next weekly session. Dan, our son's Geometry tutor, might be an angel in disguise. Thanks to his guidance and explanations, our son excitedly refreshes his Infinite Campus app to see how well he did on quizzes and tests instead of dreading the grades being posted. (Truly, he's excited to check his grades; what teen gets excited about anything other than sleeping in!?) We're incredibly grateful to have found BCG and know that, if our son needs tutoring in other subjects, BCG will find the right tutor who understands how our son learns and help him succeed in his classes.

If anyone has a kiddo in need of tutoring, I highly recommend BCG Learning Specialists. Janine was wonderful to work with -- accommodating with schedule changes, amazing with communications, and absolutely perfect to work with Ryleigh. Janine and Ryleigh worked on whatever was needed at the time: math, literature, economics. Janine also listened to me, and we supported each other 100%. Ry was more open to telling Janine due dates and what they were working on versus telling me. And, Bonnie -- the founder / owner is also amazing to work with. Bonnie was there to support us at every step. Bonnie and Janine both write lovely notes for Ry at graduation -- and I cannot thank them enough.

My rising sixth grader started Mathnasium end of May 2025 while still in the fifth grade. He…read moreattended an average of twice a week, to strengthen his already-decent math skills, prevent "summer slide," and receive support aligned with his upcoming middle school curriculum. Unfortunately, none of these goals were met. The tutoring didn't mirror his schoolwork as promised, and his first school math test in middle school at the end of August reflected this -- he failed. Also, during our last virtual session in September, the tutor left the session for an extended period when he should've only been gone for three or four minutes to check on his other virtual students then return/rotate. For those reasons, along with one additional issue not mentioned here, I quickly lost confidence in the program and canceled at the end of September, not wanting to spend any more money on a tutoring service that wasn't meeting his needs. It may be a good fit for others, but it wasn't effective for us. I was disappointed and now need to find another tutor or tutoring service that meets his needs. I would be remiss not to mention that the director was pleasant and made efforts to be accommodating and address all concerns.

Her son was having a little trouble in math and public school, which isn't real surprising because…read morethey have a teacher student ratio of 27 to one. Our son Goes 3-4 days a week and loves it. Grades have improved. He feels more confident in class and says he feels smarter because he's excelling in school and making great grades. His confidence in school has also spilled over to other subjects. I can't recommend this enough to other parents you will not be disappointed.
