She offers assistance in home schooling, test prep, math tutoring and enrichment after school program. My kids have been attending for about a month now and they're very excited about going to the learning center and school period. They also attend a field trip every Friday. Ms. Lalana makes learning fun. She also has over 500 YouTube videos of various math lessons she taught in class. Ages Kindergarten through 12th grade. The space is open for learners of all types. The children don't feel like they all have to be at the same level in order to be considered successful, but they are all learning. They are supported and do understand they have to work to be successful, but their tutor is helping them to do it. Located right in the middle of downtown Tucker, this business is surrounded by activity and unorthodox educational opportunities. The children here go on field trips every week and they have a theme that they follow weekly too. They look forward to learning something new each week and incorporating all aspects of their learning that week to the theme. It's amazing to see children so excited about school and learning. My son enjoys going to school here and looks forward to what he will learn each week. I have never seen him so excited about school. That is the best part for me. I want my children to be excited about education and learning and finding new ways to work learning new things into their daily lives. The Math Depot has helped me do just that. I am happy I found them and gladly bring my children here for tutoring and home school. Desperate to strengthen his math grades, I enrolled him at the center in hopes that he would gain the skills and confidence needed to excel and pass the 7th grade math. Today, after the yawards ceremony, his math teacher came to me with the highest praise for him saying that he was the only one in his class who exceeded a screening test that measures progress over the year. This has placed him at grade level in math. No other student scored on level but him!!! She was so overtaken by this, she asked me for a referral for her daughter who will be entering the 9th grade next fall. After a free assessment by the Tutoring Center, they gave me a systematic plan for how they were going to catch up my child to grade level and an estimated timeframe. What is amazing--my child was caught up in the exact timeframe that they predicted! My child became a better student, was more confident, more focused, and homework was no longer a stressful endeavor. The best part--my child LOVED going to the Tutoring Center! Every night, students are greeted by the friendly owner and staff as they enter the facility. The environment is warm and welcoming. The Tutoring Center staff are thoughtful and caring for all of their students. Staff can often be found giving students pep talks before and after tutoring sessions. Students are congratulated regularly for their progress during tutoring and their progress in school. Tutoring Center staff are flexible and understanding that students have busy schedules.
