Instead of trying to refer me for my post menopausal bleeding and wanting a hysterectomy, kasar sent it as breast cancer consult.. didn't even send any of my records.. Avoid this place like the plague if you're a breast cancer patient or menopausal, they don't care about you or your health.

She worked on my daughter and since the baby was asleep, made some suggestions on how to try and wake the baby up. Baby turned out to be stubborn so she offered a free revisit to see if baby would cooperate the next time. We left with a few videos of the sonogram and pictures. Unfortunately, the appointment quickly became very uncomfortable. He seemed confused about the treatment plan we had discussed and agreed upon two months earlier. When I tried to help clarify what we had previously discussed, he became visibly agitated and told me to stop talking. I explained that I was simply trying to communicate my concerns and provide some background so we wouldn't waste more time, especially after I had already been waiting for over an hour. His response was to tell me that if I couldn't have patience, I should leave. I also brought up concerns about changes in my complexion that I believe may be related to the hormones he prescribed. Rather than discussing my concerns in a constructive or reassuring way, he responded dismissively. When we discussed the possibility of taking hormone pills rather than using creams, I explained that I was uncomfortable taking pills. He then began writing down nearly everything I said, including my comment that he didn't need to document every single thing I said. The interaction felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily confrontational. To make matters worse, he mentioned that he is retiring in December and said he was done. I left feeling disrespected, unheard, and very uncomfortable. Patients deserve to be treated with courtesy, patience, and respect. We should be able to ask questions, discuss our treatment plans, and express concerns without being told to stop talking or leave. I expect a physician to listen to their patients and work with them, not make them feel like an inconvenience.

I've had post menopausal bleeding 3 times in 3 years. 2 biopsies and a hysteroscopy. They tossed my referral to the side because it came over as HMO even though I have POS, so they never even ran my insurance. So I waited to hear from them for 2 weeks. I then took my OB records over since that's what I was asked for, waited another week and half and nothing from them. So I reached out to Laura and was told in July they'd get back to me and that never happened.. I then saw 3 other OB GYN trying to find someone to perform a hysterectomy, which sadly was much easier than it sounds.. I had 2, 5x7 pieces of mesh sewn into my abdomen, due to my DIEP flap surgery, so I need a vaginal hysterectomy. I had reached out to my insurance company, and sadly they even told me to call Dr Brewer :( among others, I'd gotten a referral to UCLA but their OBGYNs aren't under contract this year, and was seriously just looking for someone to help me find someone anyone in Las Vegas that performed vaginal hysterectomies. I reached out to Laura earlier this month and asked if they could just recommend anyone.. Again they'll get back to me, that never happened. Grateful I actually found a caring OB (4th one was the charm in helping) that took the time to find an OB in Vegas that still performs vaginal hysterectomies.

She argued unless if I can show a receipt that my appointment is on 9/18 but that's the problem when she booked me they don't give you a print out or email. They just verbally tell you the date. So yes she can argue that she never booked me on that date. What happened is she made a mistake by saying my appointment is 9/18 but booked me on 9/25. You see how that's unprofessional? This lady isn't paying very close attention to her work. She denies that she made a mistake. Of course what do you expect right?

I'm lucky I have access to free therapy through Medicaid right now or else I wouldn't be able to go. My first therapist also worked something out with me before I had insurance so it was more affordable for me. They do take insurance which is great! The waiting area inside is calm and quiet. Lots of chairs. Your therapist usually comes to get you at the exact time of your appointment. Scheduling online never works for me for some reason, I always text the "office" person. You can text to set up appointments which is kind of nice when you don't have a moment to call. Feels a bit sketchy though, lol. The rooms are comforting and clean. I have been coming here on and off for about 21/2 years now. I do recommend this office. However, many therapists aren't accepting new patients. It can be hard to schedule an appt since many of them are booked out as well. They have therapists for mental health and individual therapy. Online it seems as it's just a marriage counseling office, but in my experience they do more.
