The food was at a quality that I have not found yet, even in Los Angeles. The fish was prepared and dressed excellently. The sake was terrific. Most notably, the matsuri roll was hands down the most phenomenal roll of sushi I have had thus far, at any restaurant, in any city. The ambiance was also extremely enjoyable and classy, it made the experience that much more enjoyable. I have no complaints of the service, all the waitstaff were enjoyable and very helpful. Any menu would usually offer 2-4 options each of beverage (wine), starter, main meal, and dessert. Everything was meticulously presented from start to finish. The homemade ceviche was tart yet subtly sweet. The starter was the only mild disappointment since it was only a crab-and-avocado sushi. My main dish of salmon with pureed potatoes was delightful. The salmon was cooked grilled to medium rare, extremely tender with every bite. I cleaned the plate clean with my bread to soak up every bit of the pureed potato sauce. The dessert was a lemon tart uniquely made with meringue shards on top and dusted with powdered sugar. The restaurant itself is Spanish-Asian fusion with rustic wooden chairs and industrial lighting (see photos). Service was friendly and efficient, and my waitress was patient with me as I placed my order in middle school-level Spanish. I would absolutely return here the next time I'm in Madrid to catch another meal!
