Historically, my wife has handled most communication with Hammersmith when issues arise. She has often mentioned how difficult it is to get a response from the management company after leaving several voicemails and sending several emails to Hammersmith, but until recently--when I personally had to reach out--I did not fully understand the level of frustration she had been experiencing. Unfortunately, my experience has confirmed her concerns. Over the past month, I have attempted to contact Hammersmith numerous times by phone. Despite calling multiple times per day and leaving several voicemails requesting a return call, I have only been able to reach a live person one time. At one point, I even began counting the number of unanswered calls aloud in a voicemail simply to emphasize the lack of response and my growing frustration. To this day, I am still waiting for a return call. Given this experience, I was honestly surprised to see that Hammersmith currently holds a 3.6 rating. Based on the communication issues I have encountered, that rating seems unexpectedly high. If someone from Hammersmith actually reads and responds to these reviews, I would sincerely appreciate a call back. It would be impressive to know that someone took the time to listen to one of the many voicemails I have already left--each containing my contact information--rather than requiring me to provide it yet again. More importantly, I would like to know how this communication breakdown is going to be addressed and corrected moving forward. Residents deserve a management company that is accessible and responsive when assistance is needed, especially when part of their job is to work with their customers availability. I truly feel for the customers of Hammersmith who may be experiencing the same frustrations with communication and lack of responsiveness.

We moved here to Colorado 4 years ago from Southern California and I was referred to them by the Chamber of Commerce (that should tell you something right there). Bob immediately picked up the phone and I began describing to him what kind of home we were looking for, price range, etc... and that initial call must have lasted over an hour. He then asked if Cheryl could call me and she did and proceeded to spend about another hour with me really honing in on what it was I was looking for. We decided to come to Parker to visit and met them and they spent the better part of 3 days in a row showing us over 40 houses. At the end of it all, we had NOT found our "perfect house" although many came very close. With that in mind, we told them once we landed back in LA that we needed to rent for a while and that eventually, we would buy from them (that was a hard phone call for sure because we felt so bad about taking so much of their time). Bob, in the most calm voice and a true gentlemen said, "All we want is for you to be happy" and left it at that and offered his services to even help us find a rental. Speed up a few months and we did find a rental and Bob and Cheryl even went to go check it out for us and make sure it was everything we were wanting and get this--- when we pulled into town on October 4th, 2011, guess who went to PICK UP THE KEYS FOR US? Yup! Bob and Cheryl and we swung by their office to get the keys to our RENTAL!! About 6 months later, we purchased our current home from them and recently, bought another rental as well from them. They are the kindest, most compassionate people you will ever hope to meet and we are so proud to know them and call them our friends!

The work they did was high quality, much nicer than the other fence that was already put up before we moved in. The price was comparable to the other quote I managed to get, and only a little higher than a different neighbors (also shabbier) fence. Do not hire this company…read more In August 2024 I paid over $3,000 to Select Garage Doors to install a high-lift garage door opener along with new springs, drums, tracks, and hardware. The process was completely frustrating. They missed the original appointment, and when they finally came the job took more than five hours longer than I was told. One installer left partway through the job, leaving the other to finish late into the evening. Less than two years later my garage door started having serious problems opening and closing. I had another reputable garage door company inspect the system and they found multiple installation issues. The door was completely unbalanced, the tracks need to be redone, and the springs have to be fully replaced. The technician also said I am lucky the opener itself was not damaged from the strain caused by the poor installation. I now have to spend about $2,000 to correct work that should have been done properly the first time. For a $3,000+ installation to fail in under two years is completely unacceptable.
