for one thing, their prices are high and they charge me for three visits which they did come three times but only because the guy needed to take measurements and then several weeks later he came back to clean my vent and then several weeks later he came back to repair my exhaust fan. I sent him pictures of the exhaust fan and he charged me three times when he could've done the work in two times. It took him forever to get a replacement and his communication led me to believe that he was able to get an exhaust fan, but it took him weeks to get back here. When he clean the one vent, I don't think he did a good job. He took the vent cover off, wiped it down and sprayed for mildew, but he didn't go up in the vent and clean the whole vent. The total cost of replacing one exhaust fan and wiping down, another vent cover with 630 something dollars. He was recommended to me, but even the person that recommended him said that those prices were extremely high for the work he did and for the extra trip had he been more organized he could've done this in two trips, I had to pay for the trip. If I had to write them on yelp, there is not a star for a minus. His assistant seem to know more. read more

Master Tech arrived at my rental property with his 2 sons to inspect for mold in my townhouse. The majority of the issue is up in the attic, but yet he didn't bring a flashlight or a ladder into the house. His son climbed up on a dresser and lifted himself into the attic to take pictures for him. I have to tell ya, when a so called professional shows up to do a mold inspection and doesn't bring a ladder or a flashlight and then has his son do most of the work would definitely keep me from referring or hiring this company in the future. We had no clue what had been growing behind our cabinets. When I would open two cabinets I would get a hint of a moldy smell. I just thought an old leak had left the odor. I bleached, cleaned etc. When we decided to move our cabinets when replacing our floors, we were shocked to find the "bad" mold. MasterTech immediately came over and evaluated. I was so afraid of what the cost would be, but what I had heard about them was correct. Their bill was so much lower than the level of reassurance we now have that our home is safe and clean. They removed the mold, treated our house, and guaranteed their work. If you have water damage, call them first. If we would have originally, it would have avoided health risks later. So pleased that we were referred to MasterTech after recent flooding. Austin knows his stuff and got in there promptly to dry us out with high tech equipment and his polite, efficient team to do the tear-out.
