Hampton Inn by Hilton Napanee - Guest room bath

The hot tub was broken and the chlorine level was so high in the pool it gave us chemical burns in our eyes, skin rashes and burned facial skin. In conversations with other guests the next morning, they experienced the same symptoms. The manager refused to acknowledge this, saying he tests the levels every morning. We have swam in plenty of indoor pools, there was something very chemically wrong with this pool and our concerns were completely disregarded. Not appreciated when use of the pool caused suffering for children. Own your mistakes, manager. Ot at minimum, acknowledge the concerns of your guests.

I guess that is ok, and I look forward to our credit card statement to make sure. The friendly greeting and having an elevator made up for the whirlpool Spa not working. The room was clean and comfortable and no problems with the decor, the bedding, the shower, the thermostat or the TV. Hampton Inn is a good choice for a quick overnighter on a long journey from Quebec City to Burlington. We took the advice of the gentleman behind the desk and explored the old mill and waterfall site. In the morning we had a good breakfast that was included. We would stay here at the Hampton Inn again.

Despite the positive reviews, my stay was deeply disappointing and, frankly, discriminatory…read more When I arrived, I waited at the front desk for several minutes, assuming the staff were assisting another guest. After hearing laughter coming from the back office, I rang the bell. A woman came out, apologized, and mentioned she had been watching Facebook reels. I decided to overlook it and proceeded with check-in. Once in my room, I removed my shoes and immediately noticed the floor was dirty--there were dead bugs and a wad of hair. After a long day of travel, I was in pain and too exhausted to request a room change, so I cleaned it myself and tried to rest. Unfortunately, that was impossible due to constant footsteps and doors opening and closing throughout the night. The next morning, at 11:08 a.m., I was abruptly woken by aggressive knocking. The front desk associate, named Deb, informed me that I was past checkout and needed to leave immediately. I apologized, explained that I'd slept poorly, and began packing right away. I went downstairs to check out. At that time, Deb informed me she had noticed a dog wasn't charged for my stay and had gone ahead and added a $20 dog fee to my card. I asked multiple times whether the property charges for service dogs, and each time I was told yes. When I clarified that my dog is a working service animal, the staff member demanded to see "proof of disability"--which is illegal under the ADA. When I calmly pointed this out, she grew frustrated and said, "If I don't charge you for the dog, I'll charge you a $40 late checkout fee." I tried to explain my concerns and showed timestamped photos of the dirty room. Rather than addressing the issue, she accused me of lying and claimed the photos weren't from their property. Despite clear evidence, she refused to acknowledge the truth and continued to call me a liar. This was one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful experiences I've ever encountered. No guest--especially one with a disability--should be treated this way. Guests deserve to know that this property fails to meet basic standards of cleanliness, honesty, and lawful, respectful treatment of travelers with disabilities.

I had no problem finding this location. It's across from a gas station that is still being built. There was plenty of parking. I parked, hauled my luggage and computer bag out of my car, and headed in to check in. I had a wonderful woman with a British accent at the check-in counter help me get all set up. I am a platinum elite member, so I got points as my welcome gift. I got my room cards and was shown where the elevators were. I love TownePlace Suites because you get a kitchenette. My room was compact. If you like roomy, perhaps this place isn't for you. It was roomy enough for me. However, it didn't have a luggage rack. It wasn't a big deal, though. I ended up placing my luggage on the floor and unpacked that way. Anyway, the kitchenette was stocked with an entire full bottle of dishwasher liquid soap. This is rare and a first for me. I have either been happy with a tiny bottle or had to ask the front desk for a bottle. I loved the generosity! I fixed myself snacks and made my smoothie drink with my personal blender. Breakfast is served downstairs. Otherwise, you can always make meals in your room for variety. I slept extremely well. I was on the top floor, which was quiet. The bed was comfortable and spacious. I watched TV from both my bed and the sofa. I was extremely comfortable. The washroom was clean. The shower was great. The water pressure was perfect. Housekeeping did a great job with my room. I was pleased. This hotel is within walking distance from Shoreline Casino, which is next door. You can roll out of the bed and then roll dice at the casino in two minutes tops. I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. I would come back again when I am in town. (338)

The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and well appointed. A nice self serve breakfast which includes hot food. Ample parking and located right next to Shoreline Casino. (You can just walk there!) Highly recommended if you looking for a hotel if you in the area.

All I can say, it was probable tim for this change. This will be taken over my Choice Hotel group (Comfort inn, quality inn, etc). You can see the potential of this estate, but yes, with years, they did nto keep up with the needed maintenance and lots of things getting broken or rotten. Our room was ok, except for the more than old sofa that kept itching my skin and making me cough. And when I opeend it, omg, did not want to sleep in it (pictures). Found an old cot bed outside the room and took it. The personel was really nice though. But this is a site for families and groups. We stayed at the lodge 1, in one of the suites. I would not call this a suite, but hey... I appreciated the inner patio with view on the lake. This was perfect to just sleep in, but I wouldn,t stay here for a logn run. Again, liek I said, it might all change with new ownership. Truly, so much potential...

Yes it got fixed but I had to leave for the conference without a shower on a hot day. The carpet is well worn and the rooms smell stale. The air conditioner works well, like a jet plane. Oh did you want to sleep. Not in room 226. Friendly helpful staff, but come on owners!! Do some updates. PS no breakfast and its 20 minutes to Timmy's Find somewhere else if you can

Judy was wonderful managing our reservation and warmly greeted us when we arrived. I like the concept of boutique hotels but sometimes find they can be too cramped or stuffy, not the Harbor House Inn. It's intimate but rooms are spacious so you feel like you can breathe. The room was absolutely amazing, farmhouse chic with a splash of coastal aesthetic. The soaking tub was to die for! The bed was very comfy. All the staff were friendly. Our room had a partial view of the lake, was a welcome surprise. The hotel is right in the center of town, perfect walking location to the battlefield, shops and eateries. All we wanted was a night away from the little ones but Harbor House Inn delivered a sweet experience. Highly recommend and will definitely return. It was worth the money spent!
