Stay well away from Peopleready. Peopleready sent me to an assignment at Macy's and dismissed me…read morethe very morning without notice. The employer and peopleready were clueless as to why this happened. In fact, they offered to put me back on the job ticket. That was totally irresponsible. Macy's had promoted an emotionally stunted teen to'manage' the temps. When I showed up to work, I saw this individual ducking me like crazy. Likely because she had dismissed me from the assignment for reasons which only exist in her head . The next day the out of control Peopleready app kicked me off the job ticket once again. Contacting Peopleready I got the canned response 'you're not a good fit for the employer.' To make matters worse, the Peopleready manager denied my story and refused to pay me for the last day of employment. Do yourself a favor and find a better job anywhere else please.

I had demanded these people to mail my paycheck twice and they would not do so unless I filled out a form. one of their staff members even called my father, information that I gave as an emergency contact...and asked him if I was going to still be working with them. so they use an emergency contact information for something that is not an emergency? then they tell him that I'll get an email to sign something. one, I refuse to sign anything anymore from them and two, i NEVER got the email. so the wasted my time and gas when I had demanded them on the 17th to mail it and told them again last Thursday when they called my father and i called them to tell them to never call my father again. absolutely ridiculous
