I had demanded these people to mail my paycheck twice and they would not do so unless I filled out a form. one of their staff members even called my father, information that I gave as an emergency contact...and asked him if I was going to still be working with them. so they use an emergency contact information for something that is not an emergency? then they tell him that I'll get an email to sign something. one, I refuse to sign anything anymore from them and two, i NEVER got the email. so the wasted my time and gas when I had demanded them on the 17th to mail it and told them again last Thursday when they called my father and i called them to tell them to never call my father again. absolutely ridiculous

I was laid off from my job in Tampa in which I worked for 10 years as the Gov't Sales Manager of a large Manufacturing Company. (They did away with the Gov't Contract). After having no luck with finding a job, my wife and I decided to move back home to Minnesota. After finding a place here in Anoka, I visited the Staff at Atlas Staffing on Main Street in Anoka. They are a very polite and friendly group. That's where the "help" ended. From the moment I filled out all the required paperwork and gave them my resume, it went DOWN HILL from there. With my resume, I felt it would bring me a job quickly as it was quite the background I accomplished and worked very hard to achieve. They were persistent in that "we" should find something equivalent to my previous position where I made 90K a year. I told them right off the bat, "I just want a job..." I would've washed dishes if I needed to. For the next THREE weeks, not ONE phone call. I called / emailed over 20 times during that time and "I" was ALWAYS the one to establish contact. Their reply was always, "we are having difficulty in finding an equivalent position that you had" even though I would constantly correct them to the fact that I was NO LONGER looking for something "equal." I just needed a job. I CONSTANTLY told them I would be a laborer, a driver, a shelf stocker, clean up crew, assembly line worker, dispatcher, ANYTHING. Another 2 weeks went by and then they just "fell off the face of the earth." It has now been over two months and I have NEVER heard from them. I have since found a job as a dispatcher making $14 an hour and did this ALL ON MY OWN. I thought Staffing Companies got paid when they found their clients a job?? I guess I was wrong. Anyway, the only reason I gave them a "1" Star, is because you HAVE to give them "something..." If you're serious in finding a position / job, look elsewhere because this is one Staffing Company that needs to be avoided at all costs...

They told me that I was terminated from a job for doing my job and didn't follow there rules. They…read moretold me that they contacted the HR and said I was being insubordination and walked out when I had permission to leave work and I wasn't being insubordination I was doing my job because the supervisor wasn't doing his job when we have issues with people. Atlas also told me that I couldn't contact the place I was working at but I did that anyway because the HR told me that they had no part in atlas letting me go from that place meaning they pulled me because they didn't like that I wasn't listening to them. When I was just doing what my job because we cant have people going to sleep and running to the bathroom ever hour and sitting in there for 10-20 mins.
